Make a limit on Jump

They really need to make a limit on how much you can post.

Still not a fan of jumps but whatever I'll live with it, at least the jumps aren't crazy vaults.

if you dont like jump, dont jump

if you dont like to see people jumping move your camera towards a wall, that way you can see a fine wall that doesnt jump.

Since when is that bad see a lot of jumping? i barely notice all the jumpings.

They weren't really jumping that much. Gimme a break.

That said, I won't complain if there is a short delay (a few seconds) between jumps. Just not anything really long or a set quantity.

Im sure it will be on their top priorities of things to do, right behind the grass.

Here's a wonderful thought! Let's all make mules on Sargatanas wit our nifty legacy option and dedicate a portion of our playtime to following Rokien and jumping circles around him. :D

Sometimes I wonder why people are like this.

I'm going to add my name to the "no limit" soldiers. I don't want a limit on jumping, and I'm fairly convinced most people who have issues with it are nitpicking specific situations. I've played most any major MMO release, from West to East, and outside of the occasional "that guy" have never witnessed these vast, thronging masses of players jumping nonstop just to bother people like OP.

Although it's going to be hilarious now that it will actually happen to OP because they asked for it. Youtube it!

No limit on jumping please, in case I didn't make myself clear earlier. If people bunny-hopping to an extreme amount actually does become a problem (it won't), it's something that'll be self-regulating. Those of us who like jumping (without limits) will probably find someone jumping nonstop over and over and over in the same spot just as annoying as the rest of you.

However, if I want to skip merrily down the road while humming to myself, no one had better stop me.

I don't mind. People will jump around a lot initially, but then it will get old and they'll do it less.

I really can't wait until ARR. I'm going to be jumping so often that I'm pretty much going to be airborne 90% of the time. Just to piss off these stupid nitpickers.

It is one of the many benefits that come with this game.

quick one, will jumping have any kind of use ? like could we avoid some traps or monster attack by jumping?

If they were to listen they would have done so by now. It looks like the development team is going to do what the development team is going to do. The only weight you have as a player and contributor to the forums is to give spectacular thoughtful criticism to get the head devs simply say, "Wow, I've never thought of it that way!"

Quite frankly, I'd rather see people 'bunny hopping' than /laugh /fume /upset spamming over and over. Oh hey, that happens too. In any game with vocal emotes. We should totally put a limit on vocal emotes. *sarcasm*

To be honest, I was less then pleased with the jump animation. I would have been fine with jump if it looked tasteful, but it completely clashes with the grounded style I've come to love from XIV
