I would love a vacation adventure, but that was not what this was. We were an emotional support Nanny.

a Raid Alliance for which I don't feel obliged to cut the music.

Some people think it's great, but the current normal Raid, except for 4th Boss, I have to cut BGM and vocals, which is very sad.

The commentator + unbearable boss voice is a winning combo for a headache.

I'd like a good reason to farm content for nice skin (which isn't really the case at the moment) and nice BGM that I'd like to listen to again.

I’d like to see Yoshi-P apologizing for the bad MSQ and asking for our forgiveness for the Wuk Lamat character. :p Then, announcing an unbelievably good Patch 7.1 story written by Ishikawa again, with tons of amazing stuff.

They don't have to announce anything. I just want 7.1 to have quality writing and Wuk Lamat to either be far, far, far away or get god tier writing.

If she is in 7.1 and doesn't have great changes....The main attract of FF for me will start to sour very quickly.

They are probably already done with 7.1, so odds of that changing is less likely. I think they are not going to mention the MSQ, they will focus on what the expansion did well, which is combat encounters in dungeons and raids and talk about about the future updates.

I want them to say categorically that they messed up with wuk lamat. And that we won't ever see her again. I want the wol to be important in the msq again and them to boost your ability to have more personal relationships with the cast

I want to see more of the Alliance raid and that it will be less of a cakewalk than Myths. Also need to see some of the gear-sets they're adding.

I hope (wishful thinking) that they announce some type of new content for 7.1 so that the content we get ain't just a repeat of every other x.1 patch.

Taking into account the philosophy of the game’s overseers, I feel we may get an apology of sorts.
Not a “we’re sorry the story writing was absolute garbage but we still decided it was good enough for the playerbase”. Rather a regretful one acknowledging they dropped the ball.

Seriously though, I'm tired of playing host to these toxic travelers. Open Aether back up. I know it will drastically impact my server, but I'm willing to deal with the consequences if SquareEnix can take out the trash, so to speak. Not in game skill, more social skill or lack thereof.

I wouldn't expect an apology or anything... Just an acknowledgement that a vast majority disliked 7.0 MSQ and the character of wuk.


And to reiterate on what I said early on the thread for the gameplay side of things, acknowledgement that their design for Healers has issues, and actually talking about their plans for them going forward will be... So we don't get another set of patch notes like “Increased the potency of several actions to make WHM in line with other healers” which was just giving Dia a 5 potency buff...

I wouldnt claim majority for either side for Liking or Dislike Wuk Lamat. But she is divisive that is clear.

I personaly would of course also like to hear plans for the future or well some communication in regards of there design. But i expect only some previews for unreleased Content in this expansion.

Why there is no divisive with characters like Graha or Emet?

I mean you can find those threads and complains in this Forum aswell.
In case of Graha mostly his post-ShB apperance.

But this isnt the thread for that conversation :)

Addressing the issues about the MSQ would be nice to see, plans for the graphics upgrade for older armour sets and the world would be nice to see.

That's why I said "vacation adventure" with quotation marks; I was trying to be sarcastic -and probably failing at it, my bad. A "vacation adventure" is what we were told we were going to get. What we got was something so badly written (the first time that I am shocked about a FFXIV expansion total lack of writing quality, originality, character development, and the list could go on) that I would endure re-reading an elementary spelling book non stop during a whole summer with better grace. As it is, when I managed to finish DT, I felt like shooting my WoL (with a rubber bullet, of course).

A cat mount that has a hat and a little bowtie. Yoshi P can walk off the stage after showing it off, because that's all I needed.

I have seen streamers use VR chat to write and produce better quality content than what we got in DT.
I can't wait till 8.0 and we get toyota bahamut for smn.

a Revolution of sorts is starting to happen in the game industry of late. Players are growing a pair and actually standing up to and against incompetence.
An example lasengle just tried to screw over FGO players and started a massive revolt that made them grovel in shame and undo their plans.

I doubt it. Japanese enterprises are even more prideful than chinese and korean ones. If any, I expect Yoshida to make yet another sarcastic comment (Go play Extreme, Go play other games, etc.). The feedback will be silently considered and they'll add the adventure and Scion Conflict in the post MSQ, and everyone will forget this was even a thing, and we will comply to yet another round of empty maps, insane powercreep, and quests that are running through empty expanses just to press a button and go back.

True, the msq is kinda garbage, my guess is they put all their good people on making FF16.
