Everyone drink Kool-aid and simmer down. The summer is hot hot hot...aren't all your mouths flaming from all the heat being expelled?
Yeah you don't get to see much from that quest though...I think if they expand on Sylphs in 2.0 it will be that their stronghold will encompass multiple tiers of the forest canopy. If you walk the area around their territory their homes go up the tree canopy down the tree undergrowth and further down into a bottomless crevasse.
Nael van Darnus is part of the Garlean strong force but his agenda is separate from the Garleans. He's been using them to further his own agenda.
The empire has other goals...and as we have seen in previous concept and mention there will be more Garlean stronghold areas as well as their territory opening up east of Ala'Mhigo...which we hopefully will also see in the future as it's a city state occupied by the Garleans...which the citizens of Lil Ala'Mhigo are building a resistance to reclaim their land.
We still have yet to see any mention of Ishgard and the western front...because there lies another war...with the Dragons of ole. Well they are also mentioned for 2.0...we'll have to see how that all plays out.
I really hope we can finally go into the lake in Mor Dhona and explore the remnants of the giant airship and the remnants of that ancient dragon.
The monsters (unless there are new ones they're keeping a secret, which would be cool) are recycled and the two zones have been in the files since the beginning, though, so they wouldn't be throwing away too much work.
I also have a feeling the basic system for skirmish's fights might be used again for battles in Limsa's new floating arena in 2.0. Yoshida said we'd find out why the arena was built through quests, so I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing some of that with this patch. :)
Welp, 1 more hour till Download timeish =)
Sanction item is the best part of this update.
The new additions for the auto-translate function are a tiny step in the right direction. Please don't stop here and make it as easy as possible to use. Thank you!!
Woot DoH get's there Special Hat :D
whether they use it or not, isn't my issue. I doubt they'll use it anyway, from my exp with JP players, they tend to "roll with their own"
I just want to be able to get across what I want to say to them, without sounding like my brain is programmed with BASIC when the opportunity arrives. and no, I don't trust Google translate, it's proving to be less useful at times than auto-translate. (i have no idea why)
It's nice to see unexpected things like the cool hats and a slew of new quests added, honestly the Team Fortress 2 fan in me is coming out.. MUST GET HATS
Although it is only 'one' quest, it could be super long... sort of like how LONG the relic quest is, or any of the main storyline quests. I will be disappointed if it is a quick battle that doesn't involve a lot of thought or storyline development.
