there is no Great American Beer Fest in Michigan.
But there is the World Expo of Beer. ^_^
Not beer. Coffee!
Yoshida and his team has done an amazing job on reviving a failed launch. And IMO, it looks like they are pulling it off =)
I have not been hyped up for a game in at least 10+ years.
If he ever comes to Norway/Bergen, Im treating him to a night on the town ^_^
I'll take you on a tour of Bourbon country, Yoshi P!! :D

However I seem to think yoshi would be more of a whiskey man.
She is right about it. Respect in Japan is given when you do something, not when you promise something. If you check what has improved in a game with almost 2 years old you will see less than almost all other MMORPG out there. Being a blind fan to a game company isn't the way to make these guys see reality.
What showed reality to SE was the hideous ratings and massive withdraws from players. And when the game was a mess there were the first white knights saying all the game needed was 3 months to bloom.
Hope is one thing, praising someone that is trying to do his job he is paid for is ridiculous. But some ppl get satisfied with promises.
Actually, I don't think anyone said that. Being one of those said white knights myself, I know I was saying that the game had some very redeeming qualities but a ton of broken mechanics and truckloads of bugs. I doubt any player would say that this game hasn't improved by leaps and bounds since Yoshi took over. It's very clear to me that this game will ultimately be a success. And you know what? In the world of MMOs, that's never been done before.
