In-game marriage, will it make a return?

Oh man how could i forget

Lufaise meadows is fucking beautiful, and so is both sea and sky too. It would perhaps be a bit over the top to include all those places, but a few (2-3?) different sceneries based on classic FF areas for each town would be a decent amount.

Well, you could always just hold the ceremony out there and take your chances that a bunch of tards wouldn't show up to ruin it. Instance-on-demand sounds cool, but I'm not sure how viable it would be to implement such a thing. It might be a bit much to ask, perhaps. I don't know.

Yesssssssssssssss Lufaise is sooo beautiful, as well as Blueblade Fell (which I guess is technically in Lufaise).

All this talk of epic ff places & weddings is making me want to re-activate my old account in ffxi while we're on break before 2.0 and just get married to any male friend I had who still plays! :p lol

See this is what I love in threads people talking and discussing things and come to agreements with stuff. It's beautiful isn't it? Compromising and happy mediums are the keys to happy players mayhap

Well, I'm not a FF14 server programmer. It might in reality be piss easy to create a million instances on demand any time, and if that's the case, we might see something like it.

Since SE decide to give us weddings...I truly hope they go all out with the outfits! Please SE do not be afraid to give us a dress similar to Ashe ;) I hope they will give us elaborate, gorgeous outfits worthy of the FF name :) The wedding scenes from the past FF games are ones that I will never forget! :D

I'm sure they will see that same sex marriages happen. Their business is to cater to all audiences alike. If majority want this to happen, SE learning the hard lesson of pleasing their customers from past experiences, I don't see why it won't happen. Hopefully with some improvements from FFXI system, which all in all I loved. Will be exciting to have this back in the game, was a great experience from XI!

Would be nice if could have one in each of the three cities, maybe even four with the addition of Ishgard. However I'd still be happy with Gridania. Will be nice to have this back in the game.

That's simply not the case. People are simply having a discussion on a very touchy topic. I don't see any fighting going on about this at all in this forum. It's important for people to voice their opinions as it is for you as well. It's freedom and their right, and I'm all for it. As I posted earlier....

Honestly, I'd rather completely avoid the 'hot button' drama associated with such a thing. Besides, homosexuality is a lot more touchy of a subject in Japan than in the western world so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

It's kind of inevitable as it does pertain to the game aspect. You can't really talk about one without the other. Also I really don't see any fighting in here about the actual act of doing it, just people stating why they think it may not happen. I have yet to see anyone in this thread actually speak out against it.
