Sadly... They have Rejected LGBT characters in Dawntrial. Looking back, this thread was such a joke... I had so much hope but now I'm defeated. :(
Gaia and Ryne are the sort of characters that will be confirmed as "gay all along" years after the fact, the subtext is so heavy. Even heavier than a lot of characters who became flanderized into queerness like a Velma or Harley Quinn. The fact that many people (for some reason, mostly on these forums) still insist the subtext isn't there just means the writers accomplished their goal of disguising a queer story for small minds.
Just another Haruka and Michiru. Or Bert and Ernie. Or Spongebob. Or Xena, Warrior Princess. Or Seven of Nine. Or Betty DeVille.
It's almost like a secret society. Those of us with the second sight already knew Elvira and Sondheim were that way.
