You see it as luck. We all see it as skill. The ability to communicate with your teammates with the limited chat is a pretty big factor in climbing as well. Or at least that's from my experience in earlier seasons (I haven't been in there much lately).
That's something else I thought about. As it is right now, we can't communicate normally in groups. If they were to do premades or duo/trio queues, they would need to remove the limited chat because that ruins the point of being grouped. You would essentially rely on VC outside of the game to communicate.
So before anything I would suggest looking into how the game would look like without the chat restrictions. But we all know SE don't wanna do that.
