My main issues with it, is that the front door and the gate aren't lined up (same with Grid)

Back during Plottery #6, our family FC put 1 single bid on a LB large. 1. We were bid #101.

I didn't win a home on Seraph but I relocated my med FC from ishgard to shirogane on Adama! ^_^
I have a house already had it since ARR. But I could never see myself owning a large for personal or my FC just too much damn space. lol
You’re right! XD I was just freaking out because damn……five years I waited for this ;__; but yes once I calmed down and bought the permit I went inside and only managed to finish one floor until now xD!
I really really wish everyone could have a large house if they want to, hopefully one day =/…maybe instanced yards since Yoshi doesn’t want to give up on his neighbourhoods?
I don’t know if that would be possible…
Funny about neighbours, as soon as I won, I ran to the neighbour with the large house besides me waiting in front of his placard (only bidder as well) to hug and celebrate but my homebro was afk for a long while, and that right there SE, are neighbourhoods xD.
Ill still stalk him later though :3.
1 out of 2 bids and I still lost. I was the only bidder until midnight last night too. Even worse, ever other person in my FC that bid won. (Which I'm happy for them, just really upset I lost like that.)
Bid #3 on a lottery of 3 on a medium in Empyreum......lost to #2.
This system is an atrocity. Wow, I can't wait for there to be 200 bids on every plot next week! Joy!
Now I have a small house. I like my house. I've spent a bit of time and effort making it look nice. But if I want something bigger or in a different place, and I have the gil for it, I shouldn't have to go through this RNG nonsense.
I won a small plot on my alt as a joke. #3 was the winning number.
I finally won the medium I wanted. Now I'm in a decorating brain fog. Gl to whatever FC gets my old small in the Goblet as it was placed in an FC ward when 6.0 came around.
Going on 4 years a homeless lizzer... Just make a pity system or something already. It's not fair to have to compete with some level 68 sprout and a person who's been trying to get a house since HW.
was #2 on a plot and lost to #1, going to t ry again this week.. really have my heart set on a specific lavender beds plot, might try for the same plot or a different one
i won ishgard medium on ultimate housing server i deserve a trophy (for recompense of the homes yoshi-p repossessed from me for forgetting about them while playing other games/doin other hobbies).
however, i have gone from 30m gil down to 8m and i never learned how to actually make money because i've been skating by on delubrum hair sales before the vendor back in shb
FC housing for an FC a couple of friends and I made around the end of November. Only 2 of us placed bids, there were 4 total until the draw, I was lotto #1 and the other FC mate had #3. Luckily won with a draw of #1, so we are now the proud owner of a Lavender Bed medium. :)
Got the medium I accidentally bid on instead of the small I was trying to bid on, though that isn't a complaint. Even better perk is a bunch of people in my FC coincidentally bid on plots around where I am and we won a little part of the Goblet. Looking forward to gathering and crafting monday and tuesday when I am off from work to fill out the place.
Got the mansion I wanted on my Alt-FC account. So now I have my main's medium + Mansion FC. Good times.
I shotgunned 12 bids into this lottery.... and it ended when I was 1 hour into a 13 hour flight. I have only just now learned the results. Numbers-wise, I fared pretty poorly. But I'm very happy because I won where it counted most:
Balmung
Personal medium in Goblet. I was #1, there were 3 bids going into the last day. RNGesus rolled a 1. Glorious Victory!
Backup personal small in Goblet on my alt: Was the only bidder going into the last day. Apparently a last minute bidder joined in and won the house. This is actually a favorable outcome for me since I can now claim a full refund for a plot that I would not have purchased due to my main character's victory.
FC medium in Mist: I thought I had it locked down with 4 bids while the mediums around me had 3. Bidder #5 joined and won.
Zalera:
Small personal in Shirogane: Had 2 alts bid on it. Lost to bidder #3
Poolside small FC in Goblet: 3 bids. Lost
Goblin
Small personal in Empyreum: Sole bidder to the end. The only one that didn't face competition.
Terrible luck with my FC bids, but I'm happy to have ended up with a house on Balmung.
I won my house. Sweated after working a double.
Mao won medium in Goblets. Mao is so happy. So much space inside. So far Mao has yard and main floor finished. New house skin looks GOOD!
Looked around not really sure I wanted to bid or not, but thinking this might be a good time to get a house if I ever intended to.
Noticed all the houses where there were commonly a lot of bids (5-8) and which had 2 or 1, and then I noticed specific Small plots (undesired, I guess?) across all the wards and subdivisions of the different City-States would often have 0 bids. That is, each city seemed to have some plots that just no one really wanted.
I compared those and found the one that I kind of thought had a decent view and location despite other people not wanting it, and then I picked the one with the higher number (subdivision) from one of the middle Wards (I figured 25 and 30, first or last, would be where people went first, so by picking one kind of in the middle, it'd be one of the last places people went if the others filled up). Mentally, I figured I'd probably lose and just go get my Gil later, and I'm not super rich (have less than 20M) but not dirt poor (have greater than 10M), so I could afford to slap some Gil into the lottery to pick it up in a few days when I lost.
...then I didn't lose.
So now I have a Small house to put all those external decorations I've gotten over 9 years of playing and to move the interior stuff I crammed into my Apartment into. It's not a Large. It's not a Medium. It's not in a premium, highly in demand location. But perhaps because of those reasons, I think I like it more, and because of those reasons, I was able to win it - no one else bid on it.
Good luck to you all. o/
Won my bid on Empy W27 P41.
If I weren’t misremembering, I was fighting a 50 | 50 and somehow Mother Nymeia decided to forsake the other bidder. Feels bad, but it can’t be helped.
Either way this is a pleasant surprise especially after several days spring cleaning to prepare for LNY… it’ll be a while before I can really start thinking about what sort of theme I want to go for, much less to decorate them in next couple of days.
Transferred to Elemental - Tonberry before lottery for new plots began and successfully won a medium. Was the first to bid, one of my acquaintances got greedy and used their alt character to bid on mine, so I thought it was a 50/50 between me and them. Went to my house 2 minutes after lottery results were in only to see three people /playdead next to my placard and realised they were last minute bidders. So I was bidding against 3-4 people in total, and I still bloody won! HAHAHAHA! SUCKERS!
It looks like there are a lot more people reporting losses than last time. Is the system this scuffed, or are there just that many people around this time than the previous one?
Yup let’s be happy for eachother and complain about what’s actually worth complaining about, SE insisting on neighbourhoods instead of giving everyone instanced housing and again, OP posted at 3:50, at that time he couldn’t have known if he won or not, nothing to see through or sad.
Happy to report that finally, after multiple lotteries with no housing ( or almost no housing) , or seeing hundreds of bids on houses- I have my humble abode. I have small, which is all that I wanted, I wasn't even going to be extremely picky for a location, after having lost some prior lotteries, however this one is actually in a fairly nice spot.
So for those people who didn't win this time, my sympathies, and I hope that you do get a chance to win one.
What if I tell you fortune-telling isn't only limited to them? >,>
Ironically, I think like that's a stereotype tacked onto them that just sort of grew? Like, sure, they do have practices involving their own version of tarot cards, but tarot cards and cartomancy in generall are actually older than they are.
You have several cartomancy decks.
Tarot is the most popular, which grew in France and Italy. It started out as a normal game deck, but then grew to having symbols and meanings (wholly unrelated to the Romani population, though it's possible they did use it too).
The tarot has many versions, the two most popular ones being Rider-Waite, Marseille and the Thoth decks.
Then you have La Vera Sibilla, which is basically your average card deck but with specific images. Obviously something from Italy.
And you also have the Lenormand deck, which is in some countries erroneously called the Gypsy Deck. And it's its own thing made by a French bookseller.
Actual gypsy decks tend to vary in card numbers and are similar to the tarot and sibilla decks, but are specifically their own thing.
The were definitely more losers in the Empyreum launch. Only 360 houses were up for grabs to personal bidders. With over 10 bids per house on Balmung, that meant over 90% of bidders lost. This time, there were 1500 houses up for grabs. With the much larger number of houses this round, perhaps 50-60% of bidders lost.
