I had the exact same problem.All I did was to change the compatibility to xp.It should work.
Edit:If that doesn't work,
Have you tried turning it Off and On again?(your pc,that is). :D

you had a different problem. this one is different in nature.

you probably just had a minor ping problem.

They can log in, on any char/account on the pc, but their main char cant be logged in. Thats the main issue here. and late night /bumps!

I just got bad news that the Dept. head died this weekend, so we're all astir with issues right now, and I haven't had to time deal with my FF issues. This just happened to me. How long do I have to wait to be able to log in again? Or is my character forever lost?

Um shoudl fix it's self but at times if you cant log in for days then yeah id worry. and midnight bump!
