Sage's skill Pepsis is useless

You basically use Eprog right after their spreadlo to overwrite it, then snack the eprog shields with Pepsi, effectively deleting the entire thing.

As I said, the SCH might feel obligated to kill you with Rescue afterwards, depending on which person got their shield deleted. Or yeet you into the wall with a surprise Expedient when you need to dodge close to the wall. Do it at your own risk. :p

... Not that I would've ever done that to my SGE co-heal of course.

It just doesn’t make any sense that eukrasian prognosis gets precedence over spread adlo, sure eukrasian diagnosis has a valid reason to have precedence because it generates toxicon stacks, but eukrasian prognosis does nothing

They could easily just split the two effects like they do with catalyse or differential diagnosis then have e diagnosis override SCH shields but not e prognosis

Moving to avoid mechanics is for other jobs. SGE just lets someone else do it so they can Icarus.

Bold of you to assume they didn't just port over AST Nocturnal sect code into SGE, applied SCH's Catalyze to Differential Diagnosis, and then called it a day.

Yup. I wouldn’t be surprised if more coding was added to prevent a SGE from losing their Pepsis to a SCH’s Galvanize.

Funny thing, a SGE can lose their own shield to another SGE. I’ve had it happen where we both used E.Prog and so my Pepsis whiffed.

And last tip for even more SCH trolling: E.Diag the SCH or the tank if you think they’re getting ready for a deploy.

I had a SGE cast E.Diag on me (for some reason) while I cast Adlo. It crit (I saw Catalyze) and I hit DT only to see blanks above everyone’s name. I lectured the young SGE about being a proper shield healer that day. (Spam your dang Dosis young man!!!)

Spreadlo is honestly one of those fun buttons I still use despite the losses just because I find it's fun to play with it, either to see that big fat 0 damage to my party or use another target as an anchor point to deploy another layer of shield. I remembered this sort of SGE trolling happened in one of my Aglaia spams for weekly glam piece, I just stopped completely using any Adlo/Succor and become that evil "hahaha Energy Drain go brr brr"-SCH. Not that I need any AF anyways but there are times I just want to use them despite the minimum loss in casual contents... that SGE eventually malded cause apparently I did not "heal" and they're running out of MP... lmao

Time to reconsider my decision to go SCH for next tier. No zoomies for easier movement and megabuffed Spreadlos during transitions, Glare goes brrr brrrr.

Getting a double shield comp in DF is always fun to watch. You either get these healers that aggressively GCD shield every scratch, especially once they notice you happily broiling while simply oGCD healing damage (bonus points for "thanks for letting me solo heal -.-" comments at the end) or that just go full Dosis/ Broil mode and throw some oGCDs. I've rarely seen a SGE or SCH use their shields in moderation when paired with another shield healer. I rarely noticed the same amount of aggressive GCD shield spam when on AST or WHM. Something about seeing another shield healer just short-circuits their brains

I was doing unsynced sos ex farming on scholar just so I could kitchen sink ultimate crossover. It is more fun with at-level content, but nevertheless it's still satisfying selecting someone to be entirely unscathed.

Very true similar to tanks fighting for aggro healers tend to do it too You wont see it with a pure and shield healer cimbo but yes double pure or double shields tend to war with the other lol. nlg i get annoued when a sch whos not even in our alliance party is poping there alco when i also have a big fat crit e diag on my tank like bruh shield your own tank or something.
