What keeps you playing?

What keeps me playing is the MSQ, PvP & raids. And the fact that Yoshida confirmed that he’s going to lift the ban/restriction off the Garlean gear (the ones on my signature). It’s about time we got the gear. Been waiting for so long.

Eureka and BA keeps me playing because I organize and host my own BA runs to help new player to get the wonderful Orb.

Also Ultimates, TEA atm, and PvP because I want to reach plat.

Beside that i still have things I want to finish, like Potd and HoH solo clears and doing ala EW side quests.

Unfortunately a lot of people just totally write stuff like that off.
I wrote off Eureka just based on the fearmongering around it...

But it was actually fun when I got into it, and the weapons are really cool plus because of the fearmongering around it the weapons are also less common than something like the Heavensward relics.
Even just solo:ing was fun, to change things up a bit I found good grinding spots and just did huge circular pulls clearing out whole groups of mob types and it kept me on my toes and made me make good use of the utility skills.

The cuteness. I do get frustrated when new glamours dont come out soon enough though! But I have so many things to collect and I played for three years any my crafters arent even nearly done :3

I have personally been waiting to try the new housing lottery.

I have been so disappointed that I haven't logged in at all after collecting my fee. It's put an unexpectedly large crater in my willingness to log in.

Fine. I don't have a house. That's easily bearable.

Not having access to a game feature for no good reason is roasting my patience from the inside out. The company could give me a technical description, in depth about as to the reason why not all players cannot have a house and I will say:

"I don't care what the reason is. Fix it."

New Game+ to relive past adventures (dont get me wrong i loved to do them all over again XD) , helping my fc mates with their daily roulettes if needed every reset on tuesdays and other shenanigans like helping them get mounts unsynced in Extreme, chatting , culinary crafting for tradecraft leve in Old Sharlayan, sending my two LV90 retainers out for quick ventures (i give up sending them on a 18hr venture . RNG sucks xD) etc :)

Clubbing and leveling alts. :)

Everything! I love making alts, playing with glamours, playing with gpose, going to fish with my friend, doing the new raids when they're released... I just feel happy in this game!

Adding another take that I've realized not long ago:

1. Pick a job to replay NG+
2. Give that job few glamour plates. I.e. 1 default glamour, 2 battle glamour, 1 rest time/pajama glamour, 1 casual glamour.
3. Replay the NG+ while sticking entirely to this job & swapping between those glamour plates accordingly when able to. Waking up/sleeping cutscene? Put on that pajama glam! About to jump into fray? Get that battle glamour up! Just doing not-so-serious errands for NPCs? Switch to that default or casual, if it's more light-hearted!

I find doing this is surprisingly pretty enjoyable :D The two hardest part is trying to avoid accidentally start a cutscene with improper glamour and changing to other job while in NG+.

Friends + The desire to clear Ultimate. I've done Extreme and Savage. But I want to become at least semi-decent at passing content higher than those two.
