If this doesn't get fixed by ISPs, I'll probably transfer to Materia. It's ridiculous to use VPN to play from EU in EU Servers.

Hey, all! I'm also from Bulgaria here and having the same issue since yesterday, shortly after the patch.

I've submitted a ticket and got an answer today, in which I was advised to change my preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8 ,as well as my alternate DNS server to 8.8.4.4. Which unfortunately did nothing to solve the issue.

I was advised to come to the technical support forums instead. And boy, I did not expect to find so many of us Bulgarians here having the same problem xD
Not sure what to make of this but I hope this raises awareness towards the situation.

Same here, I'm very confused.

Just want to clarify that I play on Chaos. Can't also log on Light too however, but it lets me in on each and every other Data Center.

I wonder if SE even know that there are that many of Bulgarians playing their game Xd

this thing whatever it is got me curious to run some CMD tests with each regions Data Center ips
and from former WoW experience all i know is ms home and ms world if both numbers are huge you get alot of lag and is definitely not a ISP issue

Hi from UK but writing on behalf of my Bulgarian BF since SE said they want people to post about it on the forums. I think it's ridiculous they haven't said anything to you guys by now it's been 24 hours. Yesterday I thought it'd be an easy fix but now it seems a little bit more worrying. Pretty shitty to take people's subscription money then not try help them out when something network related (seemingly) has gone wrong.

+1 having issues logging in from Bulgaria. VPN is a workaround, but should not be a permanent resolution to this issue.

It seems that some malevolent entity has chosen to descend upon the innocent FF player base in Bulgaria. Can confirm that I am also affected and that none of the standard "Error 2002" fixes help.

Bulgaria here as well, paying for a VPN to play a game I pay for and the support to be like yes its a you problem try this. When I told them people from my country are reporting the same problem so it cannot be a me problem :(

+1 From Bulgaria here as well, I contacted my ISP but they did not resolve the issue. From discussions on our Bulgarian discord server we learned that there are people working on figuring out what the is problem and solving it, but we are not sure if the issue resides in our ISPs or in SE servers. Hopefully this post can be seen by the moderators.

Got update from ISP.
Its an issue with node from higher tier provider from which Bulgarian ISPs connect to the rest of Europe. They are working on it.

i know 3 friends from bulgaria that are facing the exact same issue too, please help them SE /pray

+1 for the 2002 thingy... I got response from SE support telling me to change my DNS settings but well... my DNS settings are already as they recommend... so hold on, пичове, it might take a while...

Issue still persist provided troubleshooting did not help with resolving the issue

This started after the patch. My only character is on Lich@EU.
I can't enter EU server at all, error 2002.
I can enter the others USA/ASIA.
I tried everything. Reset router, firewall disabled, exclusion on defender, set public DNSs, restarted update services and so on ...
Nothing seems to work.
HELP!

This started some time after the patch. I was able to log in without any issues right after servers went up (wanted to check how the new ultimate weapons looked). Then wasn't able to do so a few hours later, once I finished work.

judging from the above poster wrote its neither a ISP issue nor a SE issue

are the EU servers in uh Frankfurt?
could play few hours after maitenance do a random main scenario roulette few unranked CC matches/send GC squad on next 18 hr mission/train
and suddenly after i was finished with all of the above the disconnects began appearing i am very glad to know it will be fixed

Yes, pretty much any game server is there you can imagine. I will post update once I got info from A1. I'm actually shocked they are in contact updating what is happening

only its guaranteed its not on their end even mentioning the games name he mentioned about Bulgaria Macedonia and Georgia having the issue
because the usual fix error 2002/9002 are of no use when its a bigger issue haha

Yeah, I was clearly told it was backbone/node from our region to Europe is causing this issue and fix will be done. I can only assume it might be route somewhere between Czechia and Bulgaria, so it's a big region, can't pin point where exactly.

I'm from Georgia and i also currently experiencing the same issue

Nothing, they only stated they will call me once they fix it. Just like in previous post, will post any info I get about completion of said maintenance. I'm also trying to ping server via mobile from time to time.

I did everything shown in internet.. When I asked for help the support they.. gave me the same directions ( useless... since I have done them already...) So I was directed here to complain "So we can see how many people have this problem". So here I am. Complaining. Count me ...

Small update. Anyone who's ISP is Vivacom should be able to log on normally now. I just got off the phone with them a few minutes ago and I had to give them the EU server's IP addresses to check them out and they confirmed that there was some sort of central issue with the following IP's : 195.82.50.9 (Chaos) and 195.82.50.10 (Light), maybe 20 minutes after Vivacom got them back up and working normally. I suggest if you're on A1 to contact them the same way and mention this, to see if there's any improvement or at least have them acknowledge the issue.

Can confirm. My ISP is also Vivacom and I was just able to login with no issues.
