I agree with you. I’ll also add Astro in there too. I think these will be the main 3 that will get machinist style reworks.

Why is there so much hate for Dancer? Ive only played Dragoon, Red Mage and Dancer as DPS currently. And Dancer is by far my favorite because I feel like Im actually contributing to the team. Wheres with Dragoon for example I keep messing up either the combo because I try to look at mechanics or I die because I tunnel visioned my actionbar.
I feel with dancer I have a way better mobility and forgiveness for making combos work. And I really hope they dont change that.
Bard desperately needs this, it’s the second least played job in the game for a reason. More Bard less Archer with Instrument plz.
And personally I don’t see why Bard cannot be a support oriented dps just because Dancer exists. If that’s the logic they’re going for then why are we about to have two shield healers who both have a focus on dps and oGCD healing (Scholar/Sage). Similar function isn’t the same as identical design. And does it really matter if they do offer similar things as long as they feel different? I mean, Red Mage and Summoner offer pretty much the same things (long cd party buff, raise, limited form of healing). Hell, Summoner is even getting a gap closer in Endwalker. Bard and Dancer must be absolutely different from each other in every way but Red Mage and Summoner are perfectly fine being able to do pretty much the exact same thing as each other (minus Dualcast)? Doesn’t make sense to me.
My only issue with DNC is that it having 3 layers of RNG is quite a lot... Flourished weaponskills is a proc. Fourfold Feather is the proc of a proc. Fan Dance III is the proc, of a proc of a proc, lol.
I honestly feel like Fan Dance III could be somewhere else other than in a 3rd layer of RNG.
I agree. Never understood why they said they don’t want 2 buffers in the game. Then why create dancer when bard already had the job of support. Makes no sense. I’m sure they see bard is the least played job and will definitely do something about it in Endwalker. We will know in mid September.
