Just letting you know you quoted me before my edit was made. Alright, I'm out of here. o7
The silence should ultimately been indicative of their perception of it being a non-issue. My last post essentially had someone try to correlate the RP with RMT, to which I'll simply shake my head at. RMT essentially thrives on the circumvention of fair play, be it through the use of bots, hacks, or theft of goods. RMT makes it difficult for players to make gil or acquire niche goods, at the same time utilizing that disadvantage to tempt people into it.
Absolutely nothing about RP, normal or erotic, prevents players from participating in the severe majority bulk content the game has to offer. It's presence is optional and 100% player-driven. Mentions of T-ratings are also grasping at straws between implications within official narrative and the reality that actual teens are likely reading about sex academically, both through science and compulsory reading, and the obvious cultural influences brought on by other media. Any gripe people making here "against" should be further carrying their grievances to Netflix or the internet at large because you can (un)intentionally see something some people arbitrarily believe they shouldn't. Something a few here may not like is that utilizing scientific terms for anatomy is not something that mandates censoring in the US, while slang can and does fall into this category and is probably included within in-game censoring tools to a degree that tries to keep up with the ever-evolving lexicon of society. The absence of SE-produced nudity within character/armor designs should otherwise seal the deal that official lines are not crossed and that consensual, private conversations/gatherings are really none of the naysayers' business.
Whataboutism regarding legitimate criminal activity is something SE must otherwise address in a case-by-case basis. Those things are going to happen with or without RP, to the point where a fair number of posters in this thread are just perpetuating decades of RP-shaming by waving their arms frantically hoping to connect some evil dots. I hate using terms like virtue signaling or white knighting, but they're largely defending strawmen.
