I wish you luck also! My reply that didn’t send earlier, I asked for curiosities sake (don’t think it could really have an effect on the drop rate) but, do you use list action in there frequently?? I was, healing as a tank etc. I’m sure I’m just super lucky as always. After the first one I was literally willing it to drop again. I’m finally rich ingame now xD yay

I waited years for a specific vanity to drop to a price I could stomach (a few avatars later, even, lol) The price I pay for not caring to craft or gather.

First, I don’t run DRn for their loots anymore at this point but thank you :)
As for lost actions, I do try to experiment & utilize what I have more. I mostly opt for offensive essence coupled with Lost Bravery + <insert any> actions; this can never go wrong & work with any classes except probably dupes actions from partymate. Not only bravery is handy, they’re also super easy to farm.

If I’d like to play a bit spicier I’d opt tank (my fave is WAR) with irregular essence coupled with lost slash + offensive banner or lost font of power ;) It helps me to not fall asleep when not MTing.

Okay so you’re definitely utilising them better than me :D my theory is invalid lol. Just RNGeebz at work eh. I like lost bravery too but I find a lot of healers tend to use it. I needa get back in there as AST so see how I go. I bet I get no drops the next 15 runs

Finally got my first mount drop. Lost count of the runs. Still no hair to recoup my gil spent, but I'm glad I've gotten this for sure before the next relic grind.

No hair, no barding, no mount and I've been doing it multiple times a week since release.

Definitely should be a coins item. I have literally zero uses for them otherwise.

This. If it's stuff that only drop in this content they should make it buyable with the stuff that only drops in this content, like the way you can buy weapons and mounts that drop in ex-trials with the totems from the ex-trials.

Yep, absolutely. As you clearly show, people are willing to work for the rewards they want. No one is just asking for the hair (or other drops) to suddenly appear in their inventory while chatting in Limsa. But when it's completely random and you can't actually work for it through a token vendor, that actually actively discourages people from running the content. Why bother when your best bet is to actually just do other things and buy it from the AH if/when you can accrue enough gil?

The devs clearly understand how token trade ins accompanied by RNG work for the Ex bosses and their mounts/weapons but for some reason they just don't extend that same obvious thought to things like this. Frankly, it's pretty stupid.

Both the silver and gold coins are surprisingly worthless. There's pretty much nothing to spend them on despite how many you're given.

As a whole, Bozja and DR (both normal and savage) have a horrendous reward structure. They're basically dependent on the relic, which shouldn't be the case.

60 runs = 2 hair, 1 barding, no mount, didn't even get a gunner item, but I am drowning in other 3 lol.

Fragments, as crucial to the content as they are, should also drop much more reliably since the majority that do drop are completely useless. I went 10 runs once without a single fragment and then I finally got one again and it gave me one of those worthless actions no one uses.

But I have innumerable coins which I am holding onto just in case they are used for something in the next patch, as unlikely as that is but hoarding items just in case is an old ffxi habit, if they are still worthless they will just be discarded.

I only ever get the music scrolls, I feel the mount might be harder than the hair but I would like it if they buffed drops or at-least add the pity buys.

Even 100 gold coins would be fair for the hair, people like pity buys in this game because it gives you something to look forward to. Whether for primal mounts or savage gear.

I have had a couple tabletop items and that is it :(
I don't want to buy the hairstyle I want to earn it myself. This is annoying.

The hairstyle hasn't ever dropped for me after well over 200 runs, and since the coins don't provide a safety net for this kind of bad luck, i am done with Delubrum by now. I won't buy the hair from the market place. So I just forgot about it. But the extent of this rng with no safety net is something I profoundly disliked and that i had not encounter before in this game, not to this extreme. I moved on, but I am not happy with that design.

I think for me the final burn happened when after 220-30 runs i saw in the market the same retainer selling no less than 11 copies of the hairstyle. That day I said to myself "okay, you tried enough", and....gave up.

It's a shame this drops so infrequently. I'm trying to help get it for a friend of mine, and am having zero luck. It would probably just be better to buy it from the Market Board, but saving up the gil needed is difficult without having maxed out Hand/Land jobs (which is currently the case).

Abysmal, I'm 43 runs in and haven't seen it once. I have it because a good friend gave it to me (bless her).

Seems you will be able to buy the hairstyle with coins now. They are saying that all you will need are 5 gold coins. If true we go from a super rare hair drop to super easy. Go figure. There is no word about the mount.

Actually they're saying 5 Gold and 30 Platinum Coins. I suspect the Platinum coins are from the new raid wide CE similar to CLL. Hard to say if the new CE's will drop platinum like the current ones drop silver. We'll find out soon enough.

Not that this isn't a good thing, but I was really hoping to reimburse myself.. I couldn't get it to drop ONCE.

This is excellent news. I haven't had a chance to see exactly what that cost means as of yet, but at least it's a goal to work towards instead of just beating your head against RNG.

I'm just annoyed, it was a comfy 10m for a LONG time and then all of a sudden it's down to sub-1m. Less than the far more common Gyr Abanian Plait was, before that dropped too.

I bought it a little after it came out, but got it for 8 mill or so.

People shouldn't have been trying to charge so much for it in the first place. Yes, it's what they could get away with, but if they would have settled at a more comfortable price range, many of these people wouldn't have so many of them, that are now getting dumped for pennies, relatively. I bought and sold one of these hairs after purchasing it off the Zadnor vendor, and I only pulled in 1.2 million. When I first placed it up I had it priced at 1.7 mill! It went down 500k overnight. There were somewhere like 44+ hairs up for sale at the time too. Lots and lots of them, though I suppose many were people also trying to turn a bit of a profit before it's permanently tanked.

Regardless, come EW the hair will probably go back up a bit. When people aren't doing Zadnor as regularly, and DR is dead. No gold coins, less people earning platinum coins to purchase the hair. Might be best to wait (awhile) and sell in the future. I'll still see if I can sell one anyway, I need money more now than later. Well, I want to save up money for potential plots opening up come EW.

Was going to buy it with the Zadnor currency but ended up just buying it from the AH once the price actually dropped to something reasonable. Again, thank you devs for making this change. It's extremely appreciated!

Got the barding tonight, for the first time. Still have yet to see the hair drop once out of probably around 100 clears. Even with the hair now available for sale. :eek:

I sold 2 and made 16+ mil
I bought it for 400k

I've gotten the hair 4 times on my main and alts and I've run it a lot. I've only seen the mount twice and the barding once.

I've learned with their policy of dipping into the pool of old rewards to make things like PotD, HoH, lockboxes and Moogle Tomes more enticing instead of making new ones, pretty much no item is safe from plummeting in value someday. Even map cloth, primal weapons, mounts and emotes can end up there. It could be within a month or two, several years, or never, which makes it hard to predict.

Not complaining necessarily, just good to consider.

I’m just more upset that that drop happened in about 2 days lol. I should’ve waited but my pigeon brain was like “NOW NOW NOW”
