ummmm..... huh?
As long as my char shouts Jugemu-jugemu gokōnosurikire sammy-davis broilerchicken I'm OK with it.
The devs would probably not allow it though, due to the Laws of Anime:
In accordance with the Laws of Anime, no opponent ever attacks the girl while she's going through this transformation.

Well, I think switching jobs should look more cool, so I agree there should be some cool animation.
*stares... just... stares...* Please no, just, no.
Although I'd like to see a little bit of an animation when changing jobs I think this is a little much... There was something a friend of mine did I'd much rather see which you can already do. For her's first she'd change into her standard class attire. Next she'd do a salute emote and as the emote is playing the job change activates and she'd change into her AF attire. Personally I like this much better than some overly-done sequence in a real-time MMO. I'm not fully sure if this was a joke/troll thread but if you want to do magical girl transformations pick up and watch the Sailor Moon series.
Thank you.
Thats boring. There is nothing cool about doing the same salute for each job...Its boring.
It need some effects/animations, to make the job in particular stand out. I don't think the OP is asking for anything exaggerated like Sailor Moon. Besides, there is a whole lot of transformations in Final Fantasy XIII with the summons, even though in my opinion it went somewhat overboard.
Just looking at old threads and this sounds pretty cool. Not quite power ranger style but some type of "themed" effect when you equip a soul stone. Example being cherry blossom pedals flowing down after equipping Whm...or cool jobs emotes.
barring any official setup by SE I'm sure there's something you can do on your own given some fun with the macros.
