Square Enix, Bulge Slider for male and female please?

I want to know what rock you’re living under. It’s quite common for MMOs these days to have decent character customizations. Black desert being the number one.

I meant specifically having a bulge slider, not having "decent character customization"
I've played plenty with good customization, and better than here, but the crotch area is pretty much the absolute last thing I look at adjusting. If you can adjust that in BDO, I didn't notice because I didn't try to :P

Ah, okay lol. I misunderstood you I think. Well, one thing is for sure, they most likely won’t be adding any budge sliders or any slider for that matter. They just seem to not be technically able to. And even if they were able to, they just seem uninterested in doing it for some reason. So, a new MMO would have to be the way to go! (So like, 2024 if I had to guess)

I know 2B Leggings increase the females butt size a lot, but I don’t see them ever doing that again to be honest lol. That 2B thing was a mistake if I remember Yoshida right. A mistake that people loved, a lot. (Seriously, how could you possibly view that as a mistake??)

Little clarification here, originally the 2booty was set without any flags (the ones that adjust gear visibility and some sizes)
The mistake being, it wasn't implemented properly with other gear, so they fixed that by actually implementing it correctly according to the code...
But the so called fix nerfed the butt, and glitched it out terribly (invisible thighs, even tinier butts than the flat base, tails disconnecting on some armour etc)

Since the mistake was just a matter of changing a single 0/1 byte, that's why it was easily reverted.

Afterwards Yoshi-P said that they understood the outcry enough to revert it, but additionally he indicated that the response to it was positive enough that we might not get a slider in the future, but similar equipment could be a thing (individual pieces that alter the anatomy in a fixed manner when worn. Gimme some bracelets so I can have a buff Auri lass already!)

He also mentioned looking at overhauling the gear system in the long term so this sort of thing doesn't happen again. Perhaps a fix for the quaintrelle's ruffled skirt at last?

Either, even if we don't get a slider per se, I personally believe the butt size as a 1-2-3 and a bulge 1-2-3 in the creation would be a vast improvement.
And put colours in a wheel already!

I’m pretty sure this topic was mostly a “haha bulge sliders for all hehe” kind of joke at first but has definitely hit that “...unless?” territory, lol.

Probably not the same thing but in TERA you can purchase additional sliders off the store to increase certain features, one I recall in particular is the butt and the boob slider you can buy... I could see SE implementing something like that for a 'bulge slider', easy way to make more money.

They would make profit beyond imagination

I would like a gear to have a little bulge add to them, and maybe give males more of a butt too. I was severely disappointed when I saw the 2B leggings did nothing for the men. And if they were to add enhancing gear for males, I vote for a fundoshi

I dont think we need a bulge slider. I dont think there is a need for such customization. We do need a bulge though. Standard one.

I'd be down for buldges with or without sliders, tbh.
(On that note - because this makes me think of butt sliders - I realised last night that Pixies have actual butts (no spoilers) whereas players do not. /Slow blink/ I wonder if there are any characters with buldges.)

There's probably two big issues with it- first, how much would it mess with gear? It may simply not even be possible with the way gear/models interact with each other in this game.

Second- you're basically opening yourself up to a lot of criticism between gaming media and the Anita prudes of the world that look for any excuse to drag something into sexualization talks, which might be fine for developers that have sex as an in game mechanic (Bioware, games like God of War/Red Dead/GTA) or clearly sell sexualization (Dead or Alive, Black Desert).

SE has definitely had a lot of attractive, sexy males and females, and deal with adult themes but they've never taken the full sex plunge in their mainstream. Final Fantasy has always been a child friendly franchise and I don't think they want to change that. A junk slider... there's really no way to say that's not something that's completely aimed at sexualizing, cuz it's nothing something you're going to see at a glance unlike most other sliders.

It's pretty easy to tell the size of someone's bust, butt, hips, other features just passing them on the street. But I've never been able to say after a trip to the mall to my friends, 'omg, did you see how big/small that dude's D was?'

I would personally like to see a butt slider first; The Elder Scrolls Online has one, so why not Final Fantasy XIV?
