What did you name your Chocobo?

I'm an alt-oholic so I have several. Most are just named Kweh or Kweh'kweh or some variation on it, but I'm getting tired of that, so I think I'm going to name my next one Stinky'beak. (My latest alt is just about to reach the quest to get one.)

I went with Teioh since my Chocobo is black and FFVII is my favorite of the series. I spent a lot of time in the Golden Saucer in that game breeding and racing chocobos.

I know a lot of people probably have this name for a chocobo but it's the first thing that came to mind.

Trolling names, some kind of "playing-with-words" names, after all they are just kind of chiken :D

It can be from Pioupiou (onomatopoeia of little birds) to Nuggets or Kikuit (more or less "it's cooking" mixed with the sound of birds "cui cui" -other bird onomatopoeia-) :p

Falco, I was a bard, and I named him for the musician from the 80's.

Snuggles because I have him set to DPS most of the time so he can snuggle the faces of the enemies with his feet.

Named mine Kwehmet'Selch, because it makes me smile and why not. He's a good little burb.

I have several alts. So some of my chocobo names are:

Ming: Hyomin’s choco
Flaire: Arianna’s choco—because her last name is “Firestarter” and I was thinking “Flare” but with a feminine touch
Lily: My Twintania alt’s choco—named after her (canon) steed
Skittle: Another alt’s choco—I like Skittles (particularly the tropical ones)
Yuyuul: went with my alt’s name of Yui

Was playing tales of berseria when a friend told me to play this game with her. Chocobo got named Laphicet. Now he's called Maotelus, though. Which makes sense, I guess? :P

I named mine Darwi, after Darwi Odrade, from the later dune books! and as you can see, my username and charcter names are also Dune related. I've been searching for other Dune fans! good to know there are others out there who play FFXIV. I wanna start Dune related FC, I already have a few names picked out...

Mine is called Primaphea, basically with the meaning behind of that for " first divine flower", and my birdie is a girl, so it has had to sound feminine, associating feminine with beauty and smelling good ^^ Flowers are beautiful and smell good XD, so came Primaphea out of this genius brainstorming lol

Shes my first and only Chocobo in my digital life of my character ^^, so I thought that name covers perfectly everything I want it to mean to me.

I just renamed my 2nd alts to Trimate.

Cobo. It's obviously an anagram of 'Boco' which of course is not only the name of Bartz's chocobo in FFV (and by extension is a reoccuring name for chocobos throughout the series), it's also a thinly-veiled train reference (a cookie if anyone gets the reference though, as it's pretty obscure ;)), as I love trains (I'm kinda like Selphie from FFVIII in that regard ;)).

Noishe, as reference to Noishe from Tales of Symphonia.

I've Called my Chocobocoliam, loosely based on a multidimensional shopkeep.

I named mine Atticus after the man himself from the classic To Kill A Mocking Bird. But I class my Chocobo as a female lol.

I was considering naming my Chocobo Leia after my dog who passed away but I already have a Pet Wolf in WoW called Leia as a Hunter that fits it a bit more than a bird. Still tear up every time I log into that game and see Leia. :c

TeaTime is what I named mine. Because (1) I like Tea and (2) Discworld reference ;)

Nanachi from the Anime/Manga Made in Abyss.

Trache, basically just inputted random letters that I thought sounded good. And it did until someone pronounced it as 'trash' and now that's how I pronounce it too. I love my trash bird.

On my main my chocobo's name is Lunarchaos.... on for my alt the chocobo is named Faran

I named my chocobo Konotori, and then forgot why I named her that for a few months.

I checked the other day, and it's a rough translation of Japanese meaning "This Bird".

So I like the name.

Well.... I named it called Koops.

It reminded me of one of my favorite partners from Paper Mario on the n64

On one character choco's name is Nataku from Gundam Wing... and on my current character his name is Epyon, also from Gundam Wing. ;)

Kukuru. Still trying to get her feathers chocolate brown to fit her name, think they're chestnut right now. Need to remember to feed her more fruit.

She was supposed to be an Ishgard-bred black chocobo but came out more brown than black, and so was less desirable among picky nobles. So Rat took her. Chocobo backstory.
