Wouldn't that be the bomb of the century: 2.0 comes around and Surprise!! welcome to Ivalice! Roegadyn changed to Bangaa, Miqote changed to Gria, Lalafell changed to Moogle, Elezen changed to Viera, and Nu Mou added in for good measure.

Its funny, with the 12 (zodiac) deities, the (Judge) empire general designs, etc.. it was like FFXIV was supposed to be set in Ivalice, and SE changed it's mind at the last minute.

I wouldn't even be slightly surprised if this were actually the case. That said... if the Elezen go, I'm going into a homicidal rage.
The rest of the races can be replaced, surely.

If we get a bunny race, I will kill you all in PvP. Seriously though, I hope this popularity is a vocal minority. We dont need this, we need a freaking monsterous race like the beastmen or some such race. This is one of those times I wish we had a dislike button........................ /sigh

Not that I like them, they're my least favorite race, but what about Seeq?

Agreed, the point is to add a beastman. New playable races are infact a waste of efforts
