Trying to compile a list of drops... any idea which piece came from which chest?

Center Chest is Helm,

one just to the left of it is boots.

Both from the PLD WAR DRG set.

I must have missed something, we getting so far 2 Chest (no speed run), how you managed to get more than 2 ? (speed run maybe ?). Gratz tho on drops ^^.

- 1 for speed run
- 1 for killing Morbol
- 1 for clearing both Imperial rooms
- 1 for killing all the slugs in the first two poison rooms

You confirm it's killin all slugs?

Edit: have you killed all poisoned peasent?

Peasants only pop the extra morbol bits, I believe you don't need to kill them at all. We tested killing only the vines and nothing happened, might test killing the vines, slugs, and nothing else but req. mobs and see if that works, though.

At this point, if the other chest is a mob pop, we can deduce that:

- it's an exclusive requirement, meaning killing that mob and other required mobs and NOTHING else
- killing those mobs in a specific order

If you try any of these let us know how it goes please ;D

Anyone using a strategy for Morbol that isn't MNK burn or BRD burn and care to share the strategy? My group is having trouble on the boss.

You can use any melee, something that we occasionally do is have one DRG to take care of all the slugs while a healer keeps them up. When you round them up and stun-lock them with Leg Sweep it's not hard to take care of them while your party handles Morbol.

There should ideally be one BRD per group just for the songs, otherwise you can have any melee burn down Morbol it's not necessary to stack MNK if you just don't have the available jobs.
