Some tips about creating Hrothgar, it can be really hard to see their features when their fur is darker, so you can hold right click and pan to the left or right to get their faces into the light behind them.

I feel apart from fur colouring there isn't really much to diversify these guys. I know all races have very limited options, and Miqo'te especially have the same thing where most people tend towards the same one or two faces. I'm actually of a completely different mind on this.

You can make them look hella different face wise, just that because we're not naturally conditioned to notice these differences in animal faces it can be hard.

Plus most everyone seems dead set on using the wolf looking soulful boi head and copying the white look. I see damn near zero love for the 1st head yet its easy to make look good when you play with it.

That being said I do wish we had more tattoo face marking options and the freedom to color the nose.

Recreated my main character as an Hrothgar. I may fantasia him into one some day but staying Miqo'te for the story of ShB, maybe after. :)

One really nice trick I found with Face Paint that doesn't really work with the other Races since Hrothgar's skin is more akin to fur :
The "Dirt" tattoo near the end can be used with the different shades of the first line to brighten/darken the face, while with other Races it just looks like they didn't wash for some times.

This! I use this trick on my Miqo'te to "contour" her nose and cheeks. Done with the right colour and hair it can work really well, Hrothgar is no exception!

They do indeed look alike! Although, after a few hours of messing around, I found a different Hrothgar which I planned to main. I shamefully messed around for so long just to find the best look for me. lol

Randomized this guy while playing with the benchmark - his only flaw was an ugly tattoo I removed - and I'm seriously tempted to make him.

So, I attempted another one using Face 3 Hairstyle 1 and I don't think it came out too bad. Decided to use some of the more.. pointy features of the face. I do think the fur could be a little bit softer coloured though without going too tan / yellow.

Same here, my goals been trying to get an Viking/Nordic feel from it. Been going well so far.

First time I'm really torn... I love the Viera looks, but also first time I'm really, really tempted to play a male race, they are majestic... and also adorable <3 Torn between playing the lion-style hrothgar I made, who's majestic AF, or the Lost based on one of my own cat's markings :D

I had my doubts with switching from my Miqo'te, fearing that Hrothgar, being a "beast" race, might not be expressive enough. Turns out their emotes available so far are beyond expressive, I get incredibly just by looking at my Hrothgar being happy! So cheerful <3
