That's my entire problem with Eureka.


I want the new hairstyle for my Miqote for a future wedding and my Au Ra for roleplay related reasons. Now I need to suffer Pagos. I'm level 19. I spent 30 minutes in Pagos day 1, did the Bunny Fate, and got 1000 Gil.

That utterly wasted my time. It didn't respect my time.


Now I have to somehow reach 35, do Pagos' story, then grind for lockboxes in Pyros. All before the 4th area comes out and I want to do other content than just Eureka.

Because I don't have 30 million for hair. Maybe I can get it for 2 mil and wipe out all my savings but that's for 1. I need 2.

Fml.

When I first saw that behemoth items were on a vendor in Pagos I thought "Oh wow, they finally started making those old FATE rewards more obtainable!", but no, they just made a thing that requires them and is so stupidly rare most people don't even know it exists.

Wait, can you get Behemoth horns in Pagos (I also saw the vendor on my one trip in there) or does the game expect you to bring them for some reason?

Anyway I spent hours camping in Coerthas waiting for the Behemoth FATE. When did it finally happen? When I was off doing something else, of course. Came back to find shouts in my text log indicating it had come and gone. (But at least I know it's not a myth now....)

On the other hand I actually did manage to catch the Ultima FATE! I only learned about it recently. Too bad you have to do it twice to purchase anything with it. :/

Someone on my server missed a 0 and I got the hair for 1.7m. I still no-lifed it through Pagos this week to play in pyros. SE knew exactly what they were doing putting great stuff in there. :/

The behemoth FATE in Pagos only drops the new upgrade item (supposedly). You trade the old gear and the new item to the vendor and that turns the old items in to glamour that's usable by all classes. But it's worthless if you don't already have the original gear.

If it drops horns then it's not guaranteed or even common. I killed Hadhayosh many times and never got any drops.

Its expensive right now because everyone wants them. Once more people are in pyros I am sure the price for these items will drop.

Price fell pretty fast on Diabolos. First one went for 30m on Tuesday, I picked it up for 7m yesterday, and now it's down to 4-6m.

Oh dang! lol, last night I was going to try and keep an eye on the hair..totally forgot to do that. Maybe someone else will slip up :)

As more people level up high enough for pyros access the price should go down way more. Pyros is still somewhat new and unlike Pagos it has mount/hair rewards that are very tempting. Not to mention you can MB them. I'll wait for price to be reasonable before buying.

People are undercutting the hell out of each other on my server. It's dropped down to 6m here.
If it drops enough I'll buy two of em and keep one until long after Pyros dies.

The one time i dont mind all the undercutting. Ha!

On Behemoth it was selling for 3.8mil. Some people bought a bunch of them and now they're like 3.9-4mil.

I wish it was down to 3 mil on Sargatanas... it’s still up at 7-8 mil. ;_;

Just bought one on Lamia,7 mil.
There are only 5-6 pieces on marketboard so I think the price tends to get higher and higher.

The price is slowly creeping down on the servers I play on, but annoyingly it's driven the price of the other styles way up.

The Gyr Abanian plait was just coming within budget reach of the alt I wanted to try it out on. Now it's back to around 2 million. (The new style is around 5 million.)


Also it occurs to me that they've never made the PotD style available in any other way, so I wouldn't hold out any hope of this being made available outside of Pyros. Unless it's for PotD version 3, perhaps.

EDIT: As of tonight, the Gyr Abanian plait is now at least double the price of the new style, and up to 7 million gil on Unicorn server (but that always seems to have high market prices). Meanwhile the new style continues to sink in price. Is this due to people farming for Logos pieces?

I was able to snag it on Balmung for 3mil just last night. It's hovering at about 3 mil-ish and even went down to about 2.6mil. I'm actually surprised that it managed to become as cheap as it did, but it's still pretty pricey. At least it's not /shiver levels of rare...

Could anyone who plays as female Au Ra and owns the songbird hat tell me how much it floats above the head? I'm interested in it but I couldn't find any female Au Ra with that hat yet.

Female Au Ra have a much smaller head and flower hairpins and hats that look fine on other races float next to or above the head with some hairstyles (try it with the hairstyle Sadu has and the cherry blossom corsage... >___<). There are only very few hairstyles for female Au Ra where the songbird hat properly sits on the head.

Here you go, I got the hairstyle out of a bunny box probably would not of bought it off the market board I like my current hairstyle more.

The hairstyle doesn't seem to be that rare in the treasure box. The problem is getting a bunny to find the treasure in the first place. The fate will only give out up to 16? bunnies. If the full entire instance shows up to the bunnies, only 16 out 144 will get a bunny. You want to get into an overflow instance or dying instance with 16 or less players if you are looking to find the hairstyle or other bunny treasure. It will actually get easier to find the when Eureka dies out. The Fates scale, and you might can even solo the bunny fate especially with the logos actions.
