Great change. :D Finally people cant just fall behind to not have to fight the boss at all (well they can still just stand around in the fight itself but good baby steps from SE) and all those that missed it thanks to cutscenes can still take part of this. That is a change that finally does not hurt the rest of the group and solves the problem for those that are unwillingly left behind.

What I mean is being being AFK in 24-man content (or content in general) will now be more obvious (no longer can you go "oh dear, I seem to have been locked out!"). Outside of arena for more than a minute? you most likely KO'd and instantly released (unsure if Join in Progress people will be forced into the arena).

That's an interesting question. I hope they would be, if someone left or was kicked out the remaining party members shouldn't be penalized for it.
