Shiva again... I am getting the impression that it is getting worse day after day. Crafting rotations from muscle memory fail in the early afternoon now thanks to unregistered/delayed skills (3 PM Germany). This was not the case last week, when the issues started piling up near dinner time.
I dread the thought of raiding tomorrow. Sunday was a crapfest already thanks to the impossible mechanics (cannot dodge packetloss)...

Look at that rhythm. Look at it. What the heck?
Playing from Bad Schwalbach, which is very close to Frankfurt.
Provider: Deutsche Telekom
Connection is DSL/LTE Bonding Hybrid (66MBit/s down, 12MBit/s up)
But even in DSL Only mode or LTE only mode there is no difference.
Playing Sigma Savage 3.0 was hell this evening. Even more worse than back in time with Montreal Data Center.
Even when the issue cools down at late evening as it is now, there are still packet loss visible within the data center:

Same here,
Server is OMEGA
Provider: Deutsche Telekom
Country: Germany
Connection established with LAN, working perfectly for years.
Lagging in Dungeons, players stand still and then move on after a second, this happes multiple times yesterday in Hells Lid Expert Run.
Just see Packet Loss between Carrier Telia and Square Enix.

As seen above on both, Packet Loss and Ping spikes on Telia.net
PS: Previously i used WinMTR as i had no knowledge of PingPlotter.
I experienced something similiar after the Rival Wings Patch, the lags got better a little while ago but not perfect, now they came back much much worse a few weeks ago.
Makes Raiding almost unplayable, which is my Main Focus in this Game.
I dont have any Problems in other online games, so it must be ffxiv related.
My Raid Group experiences the Same Issues btw.

My ISP is Ooredoo and I am doing the traceroute from Qatar. This was done at 7:03PM GMT+3 on the 8th of March 2018.
I normally play with a VPN so this is usually done with a better route.
I've proceeded to send an email to Telehouse, they are the company that operate the data-center where Chaos is located (FYI, KDDI is the parent company of Telehouse)
Ariellendera, what is actually being done by SE about this?

6/8 of us moved as we saw the markers and got hit. Experienced Air Force cone aoes out of sync with what's actually happening too.

On this one the aoe markers didn't even appear at all to some, though the tentacles show prematurely.

I noticed it also depends which weekday we have. On Thuesday it was worst. Yesterday it was ledd bad. Today I just barely noticed lags.

im still getting error 90002's aswell
can i ask a serious question how many more times do i and others have to post these traceroutes before we see some change ive posted a few traceroutes now n got the same robot answer of passing it to the appropriate department/team ive been getting the lag since 4.15 and error 90002 for about 3 weeks now im seriously loosing the will to play anymore i cant play a session without getting error 90002 this being the only online game im getting these problems sorry but i dont believe you can fix this anymore and its sad that im just thinking about quiting now and ive been here since 2.0 launch.
It is annoying, and i agree with everything you said.
As an engineer, it annoys me that its even taking this long to get any form of dialogue from either the NOC Team, or a Community Lead.
This isnt a hard problem to fix and there is ample evidence to show where the issue is stemming from.
BUT......
There are multiple companies involved that have to get on the same page to coordinate a fix, these Companies (Telia, KDDI & Telehouse) also need to run diagnostics In-House so they can put a fix in place.
But taking down a Link while servers are actively using it will cost them and their clients money, especially if its mission critical.
Im not white knighting SE, I'm just looking at it from both sides.
Where is your constructive input on this thread, Ariellendera? We need some form of positive statement that something is actively being done, rather than insincere platitudes.
I am not having a go at you personally, but when customers get continually ignored and receive bad service they tend to stop being customers. Loyalty only lasts for so long.
If you cannot comment at your level, then why isn't someone higher up communicating with us?
How long and how bad does a problem have to be before it is addressed?
How many people have to express their feelings of frustration, like Kusanagi7, before someone takes this seriously?
Come on - SE have been taking money from many of us for years. We deserve more honesty and respect than this.
Im not sure if hes sorry or funny... xD
i can promise you im not laughing i dont find this funny
This ISNT SE's fault, and the Board Mods can only relay information that they actually have, its frustrating, but issues like this are a logistical nightmare. All we can do, is continue to post, make noise, and show where the issues are stemming from,
Be glad that it isnt our ISP's that are causing this issue like the folks in the states are having to deal with right now.
This thread is open for nearly a month with many people showing what's going on. Even informations that this has been going on for longer than that.
It went to a point where a user (!) sent an e-mail to the DC provider in Frankfurt just to get any information. THIS is what shouldn't be happening at all. I know where you are coming from but it really should not be like this.
Nevertheless I gathered at five times as well - am going to take some more as this goes on.

Time from 2018-03-09T10:02:30Z to 2018-03-11T10:02:30Z
https://i.imgur.com/IC4T3xa.png
In Frontlines the problem is very apparent. People keep getting DC'ed constantly and the lag spikes are very strong.
I keep getting random disconnects all the time. During dungeons the lag spikes come and go but during PvP the problem is much worse. Everyone is complaining during Frontlines.
Doing Extreme content and Raiding is a huge problem as well.
This is going on for months. I experience this since patch 4.15 yet we have no word from SE on this topic. Why?
Same thing happened with Ungramax. The issue was there for a long time and yet it wasn't reported back to Japan from the GMs as Yoshi careful implied in his response.
Does SE in Japan knows about this serious issue? Is something being done?
NA users, having suffered this for 6 months, are frustratedly posting things like:
"Yep also throwing in my utter disappointment with SE's response to this networking issue. The fact that you're still "collecting" data is a bit baffling.
The wall of silence regarding this issue is intolerable. Seriously, what is the actual issue and what are you doing about it?"
...and that's after 6 months of nothing from SE, well, nothing apart from having their money taken and having moderators thanking them for their patience and input.
Does this all sound rather familiar to you, even though we are on a different continent?
All we currently can do is provide information.
If there is no information or fix from SE for such a long time then there is only one thing we as customers can do: Stop paying. As soon as enough customers do this, they will react and provide information and they will fix the problem.
I hope that this will not be necessary and they fix it without that kind of pressure.
This is what 14+ hours of packetloss looks like.

Hello,
I have big lags in raid content since 5 or 6 weeks. In Discord we figured out, that the most of us get the lags at the same time (for example: o7s rockets or o5s ghosts).
My Internet Provider is Unitymedia (Germany). I play at PS4.
A friend from me has a lot of problems in POTD. 3 days ago, she had 5dc in one hour and yesterday she had 3 dcs (only in POTD). She is playing at PC.
Is SE working on it?
