I when in as Healer and the Tank and DPS didn't pull unless I Attack or tell them to pulled but I got how they work.
I haven't tried running healer yet, but tank is infuriating. Healer keeps leaving the boss room before the door locks and gets locked out. Healer also uses Aero at the exact time tomahawk hits an entirely different target.
I've actually had a better time running as ranged DPS. Makes it easier to take out mechanics mobs that you can one shot and the AI tends to be late to killing.
I did every dungeon atleast once, got the emotes, so what else can I get from the Command Missions?
The only trouble I seem to have in dungeons comes with the last boss apparently. I tried Toto-Rak last night as GLA and everything went smoothly until the last boss. The adds appear, I grab them, and then have the squad engage the tail, but the healer completely stops healing me. What's the deal? When the tail is dead, do I have to re-engage them on the scorpion or what to keep the heals going? It's just like Cecily clocks out and says, "Nah, he can die."
I ran with mine on bard and had zero issues. I mean I still used my refreshes to drop enmity but ya I didn’t have an issue. I pulled on my bard, the tank provoked, the healer seemed to have no issue keeping my health up and dpsing, and the other dps seemed to dps fine. My squad is lvl 51 but I mean it really wasn’t that bad. It doesn’t function like a normal dungeon since they aren’t real people but functioned just fine to get through all the dungeons.
Something to note is that jobs do not count towards synergies but classes do, maybe SE should make it so that synergies work with jobs too if we want to reap all the benefits
Why not add some more commands (i.e. Attack one specific target (or maybe use certain number signs to make npcs attack the target with that sign and ignore the ones that have ignore on it, use aoes only))?
Ehhh... What's happening in that video clip is that the engage button is being spammed, and doing that causes squadron Archers to spam Barrage with almost no cooldown. Which means spam of triple Heavy Shots.
It's why there's two Archers as opposed to having two different DPS. Squadron Archers are more than a bit broken right now.
I had to go healer for my WP squad missions. While tank is running around on the last boss like a chicken with its head cut off, my Archer is tanking the boss like a champ lol. I went in as a SAM first because I wanted to get some exp then saw how the tank AI was. Next run I went PLD in hopes of more control which at least the boss wasn't hitting the DPS/Healer but then I ran into the issue of the DPS on the boss being slow as molasses(not to be an ass but Lancers are terrible don't have them in your squad) and the Healer AI isn't programmed to be able to precast a heal for upcoming Tankbusters. Even when I popped a CD for last boss TB the longer the fight went on the more adds got summoned which meant more stacks which made it turn into a kite fiesta at the end. I was able to clear as all three roles but out of the 3 I felt that playing as the healer was probably the easiest to complete the dungeon with due to a lot more control of just powerhealing through it all.
I was about to say Bard in the squad is like in game Bards, always attacks before tank gets to mob. haha
So far it was went well except my first run the healer died on last boss
