So with the lack of content post story whats everyone doing to stay busy?

I'll state again like many others I'm leveling jobs I only have six battle classes left to go then what. I'm also going to level crafts and gatherers. What I'm saying is people shouldn't have to level every Job aviabable to have something to do. I think it's just not an argument yess ff 14 has plenty for me to do I haven't done hillibrand, or the beast tribes. But these are things I consider boring personally. All I'm saying is we could of had no ex primals or raids to do for continued fun. Instead we have rng treasure maps. When some of the stuff from 4.1 could have been in 4.0 . Why is that an issue to want more things to do.

It's not, I've never said your concerns are invalid. By all means post as much as you want about how you would like X or Y to be in the game (you certainly don't need my permission and I'm not implying you were asking for it). I'm trying to show you when you say things like "There's nothing to do" or "There's no content" that you need to be very specific otherwise it sounds like you're just ignoring things or not looking."lack of content" is broad and sounds lazy. Most people will take you saying that as an opportunity to point out all the things you could be doing that you haven't (as is evidenced by your current character visible on the website, not that this is a true representation of your accomplishments but it's all we can see) . If you said "I'd like to see more super savage primal encounters" or "I want more deep dungeon that drops RNG gear for upgrades" then it's a statement that you like that kind of content and a suggestion to implement those things.

I'm trying to suggest more helpful ways to post disappointment with the game to help make it better. That's all. Play how you like.

It is virtually impossible to please everyone with endless amounts of content suited for them.

How do you make content remain engaging for players that ignore other classes, side quests, etc?
How do you keep old content relevant outside of some vanity items?
How do you keep people from burning thru new content in a day?

You can't. Learn to coup with it, diversify your game roster, or find greener pastures. Those are your options.

I am complaining that there is nothing new to do and I wont complain if I have to gear up my job when updates starts again because I would finally have a reason to even upgrade my gear. ;) So now your statement is already wrong. Not to sound mean but putting all people in one basket is not going to make it true.

Nobody is saying that SE needs to create content so that every single player will always have something to do. But its just really telling when 4.0 offers nothing completely new. Yes we have Aquapolis 2.0, new jobs and things like that but these should be the basic minimum of a new expansion. But there is nothing behind that basic right now. I mean SE could come around and create nearly impossible achievements and call it a day, yet nobody would be allowed to complain if they did not finish that because thats somehow meaningful content. All we want is something new, fun and worthwhile and 4.0 offers nothing of that. (Maybe the jobs but thats just not endgame content but more like leveling content)

Playing other games, I generally only login to help friends with something.

Just finishing the kitchen area in my apartment, gearing, procuring a few dolls for decoration, and my backlog. I have 8000 hours of gaming and other stuff to do elsewhere than just in Eaorzea, ok.

Friends are the only reason I don't unsub really. I spend more time chatting in game with them, being pervy, joking etc... than actually doing content anymore.

I've been leveling jobs, enjoying the events like Moonfire Faire and The Rising, doing my weekly Creation cap to upgrade my gear, farming seals for mount speed books, and working on old ARR reps I haven't maxed yet. While the new content may be in a lull, I have things to do that I want to do that feel worth doing until the new stuff comes out.

Renovating I suppose. Would love to go out there and farm for more glamour gears, but rip inventory space.

With Yakuza Kiwami and pillars of eternity coming out on PS4 next tuesday. FFXIV will be on the shelf untill the next patch.

Wondering how quickly one punch man would destroy goku...

At this point I'm leveling alt jobs, though I have only 2-3 more that I'd wish to level currently. WoW's next patch is coming out tomorrow, so that will help pass the time considerably.

Atm, I'm mostly crafting and gathering so I can try and get them to level 70 before 4.1

Doing old relics for glamour.

Well, I've got Sonic Mania to play. Unlocks in 7 hours. Plus, more trying to get headtracking working with my Xbox One Kinect on Windows 10, to use with Elite Dangerous & Assetto Corsa, alongside using RiftCat to get VR through my Android phone.
