Character broken after first SB primal! I need help ASAP

We can log in. It's the character itself we cant access on ANY computer.

Queued for the Susano fight in front of the Vault Entrance in the Ruby Sea, and once everyone readied up and the screen went black, the game crashed with a 90k error that persists whenever I try to log back on with this character.

Everyone who's read this; Do yourself a favor. Don't touch any of the new Content until they've appropriately fixed this.

Personally I'll just level SAM to 60 and then do fuck-all, I'm not going to risk to have my characters locked out. With these unspecific, vague responses we get i'm not going to risk to not be able to play for an extended period of time.

Entered the "It's probably a trap" instance. Heard music for it, got a black screen, 90002 error. Have not been able to log back in since.

1. Went to queue for Palace of the Dead.
2. Commenced Palace of the Dead.
3. Disconnect 90002 error message.
4. Unable to access my character/login.
5. Attempted to reconnect from PC instead of PS4, still unable to access my character/login.

I managed to log in and skip the CS from after the primal.
I then quickly Tele to Limsa.
Seemed okay.
Then got 90k server crash.
Now back into a 2000+ queue.
Nice..

BE SUPER CAREFUL

This is a known issue with the hard cap placed on instance limits due to the stress placed on the instance servers. If you 90006/90002'd when trying to enter a solo instance, your character will continue to produce the error for ~20-30 minutes until it times out of the solo instance and places you back into the open world.

Avoid any solo-instanced content until Squeenix "fixes" the issue (would need to install further hardware to support more simultaneous instances without server crashing?) -- will likely be a few days at the earliest before they get this handled.

fwiw, I just cleared Susano and didn't run into this problem.

Can Confirm this worked for me too.

FC Mate and I were able to log back in after logging into alts for a while. While logged into alts on same account we were also logged into main characters who were stuck in instances. Not sure if that's what fixed it or not but it worked for us.

Spent 7 HOURS trying to get into the cold stone msq to finally get in and dc. Now I can't get back on my character. Not happy at all!

Sucks that I paid the $15 for sub and now I am losing a chunk of that time because of this :mad:

Anyone knows what would happen if I tried to log in with my PS4 which only has the license for ARR? Tempted by now to reinstall it on PS4 and try that just to get rid of this :| This is seriously ruining my weekend man...

(I don't have the 90k error btw but the .exe one, tried logging in via the PC of a friend living somewhere else etc)

Had this same issue. Resetting my ISP via WAN router settings allowed me to log back into the game. My character was flagged as online while I was away, and still in the Fields of Glory instance. However, I'm skeptical to do this multiple times, as it may potentially flag you as logging in from different ISPs, and may be considered "fraudulent" behavior. This is a potential fix, should you not have access to another device to log in from.

Some people have, but soon crashed again afterwards.

From some experience: If your game is crashing like this, wait about an hour or two and retry. My best guess is that instances are glitching, resulting in you not being able to access them. Once an instance closes, your character should be freed up, but instances can take a while to close automatically.

Be careful.

This will probably not help people who have ffxiv.exe crash, but for everyone posting with a 90k error after a random instance, this is likely why.

This happened to me when I was trying to do the first Samurai instanced quest. After about 45 minutes (some of which I spammed, but took a break and contacted support), it let me back in.

Lol dont worry guys. They will have a fix in a few days! In the meantime make sure to pick up a stormblood cup from hardees and a few stormblood honey buns from the corner store and maybe a pack of stormblood dr pepper for later÷
