I'm pretty sure they meant attribute bonuses are going away. So SMN and SCH can rejoice! You need no longer fret about those 35 points to put into MND or INT.

While I'm glad they merged the Duty Roulette Level 50 and Level 60 into one I'm wondering if they have any intentions of implementing a Duty Roulette Level 70 at some point.

I read the patch notes and saw mention of level 50/60 roulette, but where does it say they've merged? I never noticed that...

*facepalms* how did I miss that? Can I blame it on the fact I was reading the patch notes on an 11" tablet screen (Windows), while on a moving bus? Is that a valid excuse?

Well, I'm dissapointed.
If only for the fact that the available roulettes I can use with black mage have been cut in half.


Until I can glamor a 1h scepter over a 2h staff, then I refuse to take Black Mage into 51+ content.
As the highest level Scepter available is level 50.

Thus, 50 roulette now has level 60 dungeons in it.
Leaving me with only main scenario roulette for Black Mage.


Though I suppose I may be able to do pvp with it, since that's glamor only gear now...

Ah, gotcha! So it's not attributes per sec but just those bonus points that everyone put in the same way for their job. Now it makes sense. Thanks!

Looking at fishers skills they get 1 called salvage.. curious to what it is.. might be able to fish up some kind of treasures perhaps?

Or just another skill to get treasure maps??

Players will now be synced to level 60 when entering the Aquapolis.

Does this mean we will be 60 but can be ilvl 270? Can't remember if if they have put an ilvl sync on a level cap sync.


Emotes used in the Aquapolis immediately before the gate selection cutscene will no longer be canceled.


Was this for video purposes or were people using emotes to somehow cheat doors? Seems like a small thing to worry about when so much else is going on.

Not a clue, but I'm wondering why the full patch notes aren't released yet. The Lodestone indicated they'd be made available at 7pm PDT, which was roughly 20 minutes ago, and no word on an update that I could find.

Samurai has an 800 potency attack, with another skill that can increase that by 50%. That's 1200 potency x.x ... That's not including role skills buffs, party wide damage buffs, and target debuffs.... So Samurai is coming out hitting like an 18 wheeler.

they also have no positional requirements thus they can attack freely at any direction without losing damage unless they miss their combo unless they want extra 5 energy points for their Kenki Guage on Gekko and Kasha
