There is not enough time to introduce another raid between the next point patch and Stormblood. This will be the last content patch. The next patch should be mostly fluff.

A fourth part and a fourth raid are not necessarily the same thing in this case. It could be that 3.5 will have the end of the raids, while 3.55 will either have a fun solo fight or the final Trial fight of Heavensward against Diabolos.

Personally still think Diabolos is the actual fourth and final boss of Dun though.

Nevermind it was listed as a 1440 vet reward. 11 more months to go, also everytime new gear gets put in the game, they require the new tier of crafting gear to make it which is expensive. :P

The sword is also white, not blue (Aymeric's color of choice), which was the same color as the one the Griffin wielded in a press release screenshot for 3.5. Add that to the white hood and white cloak that the downed figure has, I just cannot believe that to be Aymeric.

YAY for Lady Yugiri coming back!

And I really hope the new Diadem won't repeat the mistakes of the old one, including MOST OF ALL: No more gathering & battle combined. Look at where we are right now: If you need anything gathered from the Diadem (for relic)... good luck waiting hours upon hours in Duty Finder (for those of us with no lively FC to do semi-solos).
And please please please... let there be no more "grab aether currents every.single.goddamn.time". Lost track of how often a few folks grabbed them with the help of others and left the group before everyone had theirs.
I really hope they will turn Diadem into something similarly addictive as PoD, but for battle AND gathering, separately :) That would be awesome!

To start, Aymeric wears blue not white. Secondly, if it was a one handed sword, then the weapon wouldn't appear so visibly in the screencap; so it's a great sword, and lastly after looking at the picture closely then looking at this character's outfit

There is actually precedent there - Rhalgr's symbol is a meteor after all, and what was Dalamud also stated as being when Nael pulled it out of orbit and crashed it to Hyadelyn (specifically, the Garlean project's name to do so)? Project Meteor. Whoever is summoning Rhalgr is actually envisioning Rhalgr's 'form' as Dalamud and not a deity. Which would definitely hint that it is both a Garlean and an Ala Mhigan responsible.... Nero is the obvious fit for the former but... the Griffin would be the later, especially if my theory that the Griffin's secret identity is Ilberd...

Considering what happened to her original voice actress, I sincerely doubt they would kill her off anytime soon. Yes, it's a fictional character, but it comes across just a tad tasteless.

The direct JPN translation is them inviting her to a expedition, so she can stick a dagger into Nero if the latter betrays them.

I don't think it's Neo Bahamut, but I do suspect the Garleans will use Bahamut to test their new toy. It's no different than when Giaus manipulated the beast tribes to summon 3 primals so he could test out the power of the Ultima Weapon. Now it's time to flex those Omega muscles.

The last boss of Dun Scaith looks like she shares a lot of design points with Cait Sith, like her crown and the way her body is colored. They kind of have similar silhouettes. I wonder if it was intentional?

I'm seeing a lack of sixes hair please don't tell me it's locked behind diadem or some bs

Only thing im hyped about is the super cute (probably 40mil gil worth) glam

Unless you need it day one as soon as servers come up you can get glamour stuff for less then 40 million. But I guess that the price someone pays if they need it right away.

Don't know if waiting will really lower the price. Not unless potd starts to dish it out or people can get it without crafting.

It will. A lot of the glamours from previous patches got cheaper over time due to everyone moving onto the next fashion trend.

Oh, it will become more available "eventually".

The question really is only "how". The two big hits on the glamour market were the addition of many items to retainers and PotD hoards. They'll either repeat that, or invent a new RNG loot pinata to put them into.

Or if you're on my small server you never get it because it's either too expensive or the price comes down and people stop crafting it :(. I see so many things that have a zero by it on the MB. I hope they add some more gear to POTD.

The crafters/gatherers look like they were just in the AF sets, but with new tools. Maybe they will be like the lucis tools which were released in 2.5. Lucis tool were the best but there wasn't recipes that required you have them.

Yes it was not shown in the new hairstyles section. But it was included in the main scenario question. You have to slow down the video, but the same cat girl is there. Funny thing is we have seen her with different jobs, even though she is clearly not the Derplander. And we haven't seen her with dragoon gear. Soo, I dunno. But the hair is in the trailer.

It feels like Ishgardians are going to take the right in their own hand and we either are not needed anymore or we are straight up outlawed, hence we are moving away and stormblood is born. That is basically what happened during the end of ARR and what started HW to begin with.

So everything showed in the trailer is not launching on the 17th? So other than the 2 dungeons what has been confirmed for 3.5 and what is being delayed?

Nothing is being "delayed". We are simply getting the patch in chunks, for two reasons:
1. It is pretty big.

2. Stormblood comes out in june and Yoshie-P doesn't want us to wait more than the usual betwen content updates.

Patch 2.5 actually came out in three parts, with half of the main scenario comming in the third part. We'll need to wait till the preliminary patch notes to know what goes where.
