ARC should not be a Bard

Wish it would grow on me ;/ but it's not ; ; at least the af is cute

lol I don't even like the flute. I think Bard should have been it's own class. I wish we got ranger or something instead. I miss that boyscout AF. Now we have a cool hat..the puffy shirt from Seinfeld and....colorful pants.

Okay, imho archer is ranger, brd job makes sense because of the position of the archer in battle, keeping the job closer to mages for mp song and constant combos; however, if u want to be near battle, then rain of death and tp song to boost the other jobs dmg. So, they turned archer from a hate focal point, although I still get annoying hate, to an essential catalyst for xp and termination. For eff sake, my lvl is only 47 and my rain of death is 800+.

I don't like this kind of BRD. Well, i'm not an ARCHER, i'm a BRD, and i want to see BRD to be a pure job, not half support and DD, only support. My experience in FFXI gave me some much fun with this kind of BRD job purely support one. ARCHER have to be RANGER in job and BRD have to come from whatever but not ARCHER nor any melee. Support Mages could be cool like ARCANIST.

even if they wanted to change BRD from being ARC it would be too drastic, i'd like BRD as a buff/support heal/close combat kinda job but its too late now. not everyone agrees with this I am sure.

I believe we should at least get other choices later on. While bard is cool, its not what i envisioned when i decided to make archer my main. They could add more maybe ranger beastmaster and trapper as different alternatives you could switch too.

Can someone open a tread for Cor and Ranger...and if archer cant be a ranger because it doesn't use a bow, why have the class?? Rangers use bows too and are 100% dmg dealing compared to Bards. The difference is, Bard dont use guns or crossbow and Rangers and Cors can. So there need to be a skill tree branching out to become something else rather than Bard. More job per-say. I'm leveling up Archer for the range ability, not the Bard job or the fruity AF.

If you want to be a DD and not a support job, It's likely that Archer is going to develop into the job Hunter or Ranger in the future. Just be patient.

I am, I really cool about bard, it's just I don't want classes = job to stop there... SE isn't giving us any other indication on how much classes will sum-up jobs more in the future. I just really dont want to be just another Archer out there (who's not wanting to be a bard).

IDC what it is, a boy-scout, a bounty hunter, a ranger or a corsair, anything! They're introducing "Geomancer" as to everyones request(for the new expansion on FFxi) finally and it's about time too.

This archer wants more, has a dream wanting to be something else, some thing more(lol...dont you dare sind that song XD)
