I think if you squint reeeeeal hard you can make a pretty boy. XD In Tera you could make hot male characters, was the first game to manage it so far for me. :P

Yeah, the Elves and Castanics had some hot guys, probably best looking males in mmorpg.

I would love a /stargaze pose, where my character looks up into the sky with dreamy eyes.

Oh and I'd love for the mime emotes like /shuteyes to be toggle-able instead of 5 second things.

Ahh, well I never had a Roe to test it on so I certainly can't comment there, but everyone else seems more or less as you described! Male miqo'te might be a little bit expressive too I think. I might just go and test it for the sake of curiosity.

In any case! I wasn't against the emote per sé, but since there was a very practical equivalent already in-game I was personally just a bit reluctant to give that priority over things that would be a lot more unique. Albeit, I know the pain of something that just doesn't quite fit. I think I can suffer the emotes in most cases but not one of the voices suit what I had in mind for my male miqo'te, and my main's is a bit odd in the sense that the personality behind the voice actor changes drastically from emote to emote; some of them are a bit Y'shtola-like while others are super cutesy and bubbly with a higher voice and it's just odd to the point that I must avoid certain emotes just so they don't play the audio.

It's been ages since I've seen it, but IIRC, they kind of jump back a tiny amount and put both hands in the air (as shown). I think this could have worked well for /deny.

/smug please, the face your character makes at the end of /vpose on Black mage is super good, but having it limited to Black mage and not being a standalone emote is super ungood

They may! They gave us the male highlander pose as part of the /hildy. You never know, it may happen.

What do lalafell get instead in that case?
Because they had to give male highlanders a pose as well precisely because everyone else also got it
I think the only fair way would be to give every race a second /surprised emote, which is different from their own

I know we are suppose to be the Warrior of Light but I think it would be fun to have a /evillaugh or /sinisterlaugh. Or at least something like an uncontrollable laugh that last a few seconds instead of the current laughs which are really short.

You know, I would like the facial expressions to be perminant, like your pose, doze and sitting positions. Like, if I want my character to constantly be smiling I can choose that facial option to persist constantly. It's removed for cutscenes though, ofc.

Them having to figure out an alternate pose doesn't preclude them offering it at some point. Honestly I'd like to be able to mix and match the poses and not just have the standard racial template.

More 'masculine' idle poses. There's plenty of options for those who want their character to pose in a feminine or androgynous manner so next time around perhaps we can some more masculine options?

Just create a macro to hit before you go afk and set it to /hildy, you will be the manliest man that ever manned.

Considering all the crazy stuff we go through, we REALLY need a /dustoff. Maybe a simple "V for Victory" too.

I'd personally also like a persistent /kneel and a /fistpump. Like /huzzah, but no automatic weapon draw

To be fair, even though the current poses suit my characters for the most part, I can sympathise with your position. Though with that said, I don't have much faith in this happening simply for the fact that we already have a bunch of idle poses for standing, sitting and now sleeping. Adding much more would only mean that you'd have to do a lot of cycling through tons of different poses UNLESS they revamp the UI a bit after adding a ton of new emotes/expressions and allow you to select five(for example) emotes that you wish to include in the /cpose cycle without manually adjusting it from the main window itself.... another thing I can't imagine them putting priority into - at least not in the near future.

Ahhh, I see what you mean >_< Sorry about that. Also, I know the feeling about /wave, haha. All of my characters have their /goodbye emote macro'd to text that says "<playername> waves at <t>", albeit that doesn't let it appear as a "you" for the target player, so it must seem a bit odd to the recipient.

I want to see more race/racial emotes. I also want to suggest giving us an alt version of the /dance emote that keeps them permanently dancing/repeating.

/squats and /pushups please! NPCS already use them in game already so why don't we have them yet? :(
