Wada and SE looking into discount. What price is acceptable?

I've read very few posts from anyone saying that they simply outright can't afford it. It's about making responsible choices with your money and if it's worth it.

The game is not worth full price. It isn't a full game, it shouldn't charge full fees

That coming from the guy that didn't really start doing anything in the game up until a month ago going by your game history.
What made you start playing the game again?

I haven't read all 13 pages but Yoshi say it was 50% as of 1.19. When 1.20 is release, he feels the game will be close 100% of what it should've been at launch. He is not charging until after 1.20 to give me people sometime to test. But this whole charge half cuz it is half a game is flawed because when 1.20 comes out thinks it is the game we should have received at launch therefore full subscription. Maybe I missed something.

I really don't see why anyone would be upset about this, but then again this is the FFXIV community.

It just doesn't make sense to me. If my favorite hobby was bowling, and they gave me a discount on lane time for a year, I certainly wouldn't complain about it. In fact, I think I'd be pretty happy.

I like the direction the game is going. If they decide to go half price till 2.0 I'm fine with that, but I wouldn't mind paying full price at this moment either.

if he thinks the game will be at 100% to were the game should have been at launch he is delusional. IF they think that 1.20 is a good pay 2 play game then they would not be making a 2.0 version with all new servers and a new engine. 2.0 should have been the version we bought, not 1.20.

I want to experience the happenings in Eorzea during this 1-year long seasonal event that is the Seventh Umbral Era, so I would probably pay full price anyway, considering the good things Eorzea can offer me daily.
However, considering Yoshida-san himself said that by 1.19 Final Fantasy XIV was 50% complete, I would just find it fair that we get to pay half the price until we reach 100%.

The half of 12.99 € is 6.495 €. So when patch 1.20 is released, let's say we'll be at, like, 55%?

A fair price by 1.20 would be 6.99 €, in my opinion. Then, I also agree on charging 1 more € at each new patch, as we get close to 100%.


I'm afraid that many adventurers will leave when the billing starts, if it's a full billing for a 55% Final Fantasy XIV, and thus the city-states and camps, where I recently noticed a slight increase in new adventurers, would empty out once again.
Also, there're still some issues in the response times (like in the Retainer's interface), that, although they're acceptable to me, someone who pays may not like.

Therefore, please take these requests into consideration for such a discount. :)

That makes me so proud. After making the ultimate mistake as a consumer and voluntarily buying XIV in it's September 2010 state you are finally starting to learn.

I would pay about £5 and i would like a transfer to a server with more people.
