Did you get your house?

Got my medium in mist on a plot I was eying. all plots were sold in 10 minutes of server going live.

I got a room in my FC! Good enough for me!

No Queue on Jenova.

I woke up at 7am PST and got the house I wanted no problems.

Happy days :)

Lot of houses still available here.

Didn't want a house, and probably couldn't afford one anyway.

Except they didn't even increase it by 50%, they increased it by 33%. Balmung needs 20 more wards.

For people who keep suggesting those of that missed out on a house should just move servers should remember SQEX sucks at that part of the game too and if I could manage to convince my friends to move to a lower pop server with much less RP opportunities and a severely limited economy I'd still be leaving behind all my gil so buying a house wouldn't be an option there either.

Not sure it will change anything, as long as people can buy multiple houses on one account and get not banned for reselling them, adding new plots will be useless :/
We need to create some kind of a report task force, report everyone reselling plots mulitple time if needed so GM get overflowed with reports, like that guy who ended up in GM jail, and boycott those players, not playing with them, not talking to them, acting like they do not exist

While looking for my friend's new house, each page in the new wards still had 10+ houses... each PAGE. This was in LB, which is already popular.
I bet Goblet is a ghost town.

Or just permaban sellers and tempban buyers. Seems like a simpler solution.

Basically high population server have no housing, low pop server have empty wards. Best quick fix option, free server transfers from high to low servers for a month.

Bought it 5min after servers opened. 10min later.. half of my ward was taken already ._. . Still I even had time to choose a house with good view near a market board.

I\\'d say the biggest reason was the price change was actually a price hike for us, we are a poor server with a lower economy so most players don\\'t have the cash for personal and are quite happy with a room in an fc house. We bought ours as a ewer fc today, I would have had to have farmed materials and ores alot harder than I did if I wanted personal housing. Also imo we have minimal crafter gathers.

Technically, you can convert your gil into items to sell when you get to a new server and ranking up an FC doesn't take that long or that much effort.

And take a double sales tax hit and hope whatever I bought sold no thanks I worked hard for my money and so did my FC mates. And as someone that solo ranked her FC from one to six you telling me it doesn't take that much effort doesn't ring true.

We were very lucky. As far as I can tell we got the last two Medium Goblet houses in Balmung, and by sheer luck really. I feel wonderful, I have been promising my people an upgrade for a long time and finally got to deliver. And me and my wife Clio finally have a personal house which is what she has wanted since joining the game. It was a great night and we were very lucky.

I'm very sorry to all how missed. Several of my friends had worked very hard and all for nothing because of the 1789 ques and the scalpers. I was disappointing to see a fairly well known FC here on Balmung out in force buying MANY houses, some of which were on the PF for sell by 4am Pacific. I won't name them, but still I'm disappointed to see them engaging in this nonsense.

Thats what you need to do though. IS to name them so they can brought to light for doing that. The plots can be released and giving others a chance to actually get them.

You just buy allagan pieces off the market board. They're usually listed for exactly the same price as they sell to NPCs and the tax hit is only for the seller, not the buyer. Buy a bunch of those and it's literally a 1:1 conversion of gil to items to transfer and sell to an NPC when you arrive.

As for leveling up a FC solo being slow... well yeah, that's kind of your fault. They aren't meant to be ranked solo and if that's what you're doing then you're doing it wrong. A relatively small FC can rank to max in very little time if people are active.

Screenshot everything and report each and every one. The *only* way this will change is if people report it and *make* it an issue for SE to deal with.

I didn't even bother trying to save up for even a small house. I know I can't compete with the Housing Mafia. And I'm not surprised to see that plots have sold so quickly, especially on the high population servers.

I did! Wasn't my first choice as I had wanted 29 in Lavender Bed, but settled on 23. Friends of mine also for all theirs, both for personal use and the FC.

I managed to buy in the first 10 minutes. And now doing gardening.

I bought a small private house on Behemoth. There were still plenty of house available from what I can tell when I left for work 8 hours after the servers came back up.

I ended up grabbing one of the plot 29's in lavender beds in Hyperion

On Lamia even with running around all morning to get to the 3mil I needed to my a small house in Lavender Beds I managed to get a one in a nice spot right down the road from the marketboard and summoning bell.. Very happy with my location

Sure did. Hubby had to buy it though as I was stuck getting kicked. But we got the one we wanted, Plot 28 Ward 10 in the beds!

Moogle still has loads of housing in all sizes left in the Goblet. It sounds like there are just far too many people on Balmung and Gilgamesh.

On Adamantoise, nearly all the Goblet houses are still available. I haven't checked Mist or Lav yet, but I'm sure there are a bunch in both.

I logged in as fast as I could(around No.430 in the que after 4 lobby errors) and managed to grab a Med in Mist, plot 4. It was not my first choice (as I literally saw that being bought in front of me!!) but it was a close second so I'm happy! The rest of the houses in the Mist and Lavender were gone almost instantly! Goblet had empty ones for hours but now it's all filled up too. Just wish SE was adding wards more frequently so eventually everyone has a chance to get one, especially on higher pop servers.

Im guessing Leviathan housing is all bought up? xD

I suspect most of this wouldn't be a major issue if they didn't lock some major features into the housing system.

Want a different color chocobo and want some ease in training it? You need a chocobo stable, which requires a house.

Want to do some gardening? Well now, you need a house for that too.

Airship ventures? Same deal.

Hey, Mist 19-21 are all beachfront, so they're pretty good... though my FC had Ward 4 Plot 20 for a while before we got a Medium... then I got it and eventually left it myself. Now I got my own happy Medium house in mist right beside the shops and dock.

Even though I managed to get what I wanted, I feel for you guys who didn't. ESPECIALLY for those of you getting screwed over on Balmung with the largest server population and the people trying to resell for insane gils... hope SE removes the houses from those that end up getting permabanned from this
