Maybe on Souleater instead. You wouldn't want to rely on a tanking combo for added dps when OTing.

Sarcasm, though tbh you can only raise the bar so high - raiding experience with a class alone, even in the first 2-3 floors, is enough to have at least a decent understanding of it. Obviously it's up to you who you personally take seriously, I just think an A5S/A6S clear at least means you have fundamental knowledge of your job which is all it really takes to make a comment on something regarding it. It can be wrong, misinformed, misunderstood, etc. but you've at least done the thing where you had to use a bit of thought and that's the least I personally ask for. :-P
Correct. I think some people who give personal standards on here are trolling or being sarcastic. I don't take the ones who are being serious... seriously. They are not officials for this and it's just elitist nonsense. Granted, I've seen far worse elitists in FFXI than FFXIV. I've seen people go as far as telling other linkshells that they're not allowed in a certain area without their linkshell (free company) leader's permission and they pressed the matters.
I wouldn't be opposed to adding it to DA Souleater. It wouldn't be as fast as Warrior but still making it available if needed.

certainly all three tanks are balanced and capable of achieving the same results. soul eater is fine, itll get this job done just as well. If you arent raiding the top tier raid, your opinion doesnt matter and no amount of idea is even going to matter cause all 3 tanks can do this right here, they can!
I dont raid, so i dont know jack all, but the raider DRK here can tell you, that without a healer a DRK can totally do this, relying on soul eater and bloodbath alone Theyre even so hardcore theyll provide proof, because you know, mt dps numbers on a tank role dont lieas long as theyre staying in tank stance, it gets tricky when they decide to drop it.
tl; dr: The tanks are NOT balanced, and to say they are and capable of comparitive results means you have yet to play all 3, or have yet to test all 3 in various situations, one like this, especially
What is this link supposed to say? I know at least of one PLD that did this on patch day and that is the least favored tank job atm.
Pretty sure your post is sarcasm but I'll chime in to say I don't think a DRK can survive Calofisteri without a healer. Now if they could target the entanglements without needing to step in them to use SoSu it might be different. Because as far as I can see the fact WAR and PLD have Equil/Clemency they can last much much longer then a Dark Knight can. Otherwise as you've said a DRK has to manage their MP and spend the equivalent of 6-9 GCD's to even remotely heal for the same amount that a PLD/WAR can with just 1. I mean they could probably pull it off...but it wouldn't be as safe as a Warrior or Paladin.
DRK will have harder time sustaining on Calostiferi. Paladin is kinda on the same side as DRK for mana department just that you theoretically don't ever need any CD until the situation gets grim (i.e. dead healers) and you can rotate CDs to survive, in this case HG is a winner vs LD. WAR has Path, Equilibrium and IB with infuritate and buffed bloodbath, easily the best tank choice with multiple self heals.
