Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, many of the people who voice their complaints do so because they want to see this game succeed. They can see the potential it has for being something great, and to see that potential squandered or spoiled is brutal. This is compounded by the fact that we, as subscribers, have invested our money into this game to see it realise that potential. That's right. We're investors, and FFXIV is our collective product. Try telling a shareholder that their opinion is worthless, and see how long your company lasts!
If there was no feedback and people just left the game, I shouldn't need to remind you that A Realm Reborn would never have happened. It literally would not have existed, because this game would have died at 1.0 when it was a buggy, sludgy mess. But, maybe that's your goal. Maybe you secretly tire of the game and wish to see it fail? Well, not me. I want to see it succeed.
Even I have limits to my patience, however, and they're really pushing their luck by announcing yet another replacement allagan tome. There's only so many cycles of the same content people will accept before even the best of us give up. If SE is wise they will heed the complaints made and weigh up alternatives so they can truly consider the future of this game. In Yoshi's own words - If it isn't fun, you're doing it wrong.
