Yup. Coeurl, infinite 2002. But strangely, it seems okay if I try choosing other datacenters.

It's my first expansion in this game and I believe that this is not the worst performance but considering its "just" early access - what will happen on 23rd? Nevertheless with 2.0 being apparently worse, one would think learning from from the past - wouldn't you agree?

error 2002 on phoenix too

Having issues myself, but no worries. Content is time-gated pretty far ahead and it's cool to enjoy everything, even if I am gonna play a lot per day (which I will). Just saying, having played MMOs for about 15 years, this is probably the smoothest MMO opening or an expansion release that I've seen so far, ever. No constant issues, the launch was timely, and I was able to play for a good 8 hours without any horrible lag, too. (Small-time chugging only). Impressed!

Let's hope we can get back in soon. o/

You know the annoying part of not being able to connect is, that I KNOW other people are on, which means the login is broken, not the actual server. Bah.

Error 2002 and 5006 on entire Aether Data Center

My husband managed to get in game, and is reporting that one of our friends and I are still showing as online, even though neither of us can connect to the data center.

Leaving off any commentary about the fairness of that kind of choice, that probably won't help you anyway. In the case of many of us, myself included, we were all in game and were booted off w/ a 90k before being hit with the lobby errors.

I was kicked out from the game while questing in Mor Dhona, and I've not been able to login since.

so dumb get home from work was like yea finally can play some FF, oops sorry cant connect to sever.:mad:

2002 Error here as well on the Siren server.... :confused: 4:57pm est 6/19/15

Looks like Aether is back up.

Balmung is still down for me and my friends.

Booted out of Balmung suddenly (along with everybody else I'm playing with) and now experiencing the "Unable to connect to lobby" error again. Was working like a dream until about 20-30 minutes ago.

I'm up for being patient since this launch was pretty much the best I've ever seen in an MMO, just want to see if anybody has heard anything more as to what is up with it/how long it'll last. I'm guessing it's something to do with all the people coming home in NA but it's worth asking regardless.

Or just take the servers down for emergency maintenance or something. I'd rather that then this random lottery :(

Data center: Aether, Server: Gilgamesh.. Error code 2002 persists.

Having the same problem here 2002 error when trying to connect. Anyone know if there has been an official response yet? --- also since it worked for the last person to try, please stop trying to login for 2 minutes so I can get in ;)

Have they mentioned anything yet?

Still can't log in to Phoenix. Mostly 2002's with like one 5006 or something like that.

Same, was on this morning but logged out for some grub and came back to 2002. Unable to get back on.

I have some friends who have defeated the 2002 beast. However it still seems to crush me. Gilgamesh

Ok so the code changed from 2002 to 5006. I did a dns flush via cmd and was finally able to at least login to character screen.

Flush your DNS guys, its Worth a try !

The issue is probably going to continue because there isn't much that can be done. Servers like Balmung, Gilgamesh and such are rather old servers and have alot of activity. Considering people even struggle to make a character on said servers its no really surprise its happening. I can't even get in at this very moment. The best thing anyone can do is just wait I suppose or keep trying.
