Those of you who have installed HW - did you already register your full game because you have digital? I have early access registered but not the game as I ordered physical copy to ship.

make sure both are turned on when u do login to client. if u see a heavensward logo/picture upon logging in click it and it will start installing after accepting terms and conditions

also do u have early access code added?

Thank you so much for your reply. I was a dummy and didn't click the HW pic (didn't realize it was a button, haha). It then took me to accept/dl. 4 mins left. So nervewracking - lol Thank you :)

SO glad they didn't have us all clamoring for this DL in the middle of the night, allowing plenty of time, so happy about that !

It seems like they're trying to be practical with this as well. 24 Hour maintenance before the Xpac, and time to allow for DL. Means they're fortifying the walls of the servers, and preparing for the coming flood of players tonight, and on Tuesday.

I haven't ordered HW.

I downloaded a patch, went into the Config and set DirectX11 to On, and now I have a message that says "The game is unavailable for play during maintenance. There is also a greyed-out button that says "Play" with "DirectX 11" underneath.

Is that all I need to do to be able to log in when the servers are up later?

You should be able to play everything else except the expansion pack areas so should be fine to log in and do everything else :).

She won't be able to go to the new areas lol. There is no way for her to even get there xD. Plus she needs to be lvl 50 and have the main story line quest finished up to the point of Ishgard anyways. :P

I just don't like the fact that my ps4 downloaded something Heavensward related last night. And today I downloaded the 3.6 gig update, and it also took me through the process of registering Heavensward to my mog station, but the PS Store still has a countdown before I can download the expansion.

Do I already have it? Or will I still have to download it 11am tonight? I would hate to download it twice for no reason.

hmm OP editte dhis post to say 3000-odd MB patch but mines installing over 8GB patch. Maybe they're not done adding it yet

There are also major cosmopolitan cities with terrible network infrastructure. Like the one I live in. Glorious 3Mb/s.

I'll have it downloaded by the afternoon, but it's maxing my pipe in the meantime.

Wait hu? That didn't happen for me. Took less then a hour to dl and after just said it was off line where I'd click play. o.O

Well damn. PS4 players aren't able to download the patch until an 11pm CST. We've got a timer on it preventing us from accessing it.

Yeah same here, but did you preorder heavensward through the ps store? I did, and since I have the Heavensward symbol on my dash, and everything installed and ready to go as it says its offline where I'd click play. Does that mean that i'm done? Or do I have still go the the PS Store tonight when the countdown ends, and download the Expansion.

Because last night around 2am, my ps4 said, "download update, Heavensward Add on" but i don't remember how many gigs that was, cause when I woke up this morning it was finished. That's when i went into launcher and downloaded the other update.

Also at work can't dl yet. I'm not in a huge hurry, SE never maxes out my DL speed, so I'm sure itll be done swiftly.

I have a question. So far I first downloaded the 1.6gb client file for PS4 digital. Today I download a nearly 4gb file through the client, and I read that after restarting the client I will be prompted to yet another download, I closed and opened the app several times and even restarted my PS4 and I don't get any extra files to download just a message saying unable to play during maintenance. Currently in 2015.06.17.0000.000(1548724) on my client/launcher.

Same thing happening on my end. Hopefully this is normal for Digital PS4 users.

I know I am, even worse cus I work from home and because I only have the 1 network adapter which is shared between my work and gaming PC, I have to wait till I clock out to start installing. :(

I've already downloaded it myself. Made sure to do that this morning.

That said, now that we're less than a day away from early access, I can't help but worry about the mental state of a fair number of players when early access starts tomorrow. I STILL have strong memories of the day Ninja got released and people already level grinded it to 50 within two days and already had about i110 gear and their relic weapons. That was just when ONE thing got released, along with some main story progress. With everything that's coming to Heavensward, I'm going to be wondering if people even know the word "sleep".

Calling it now: The moment I log in tomorrow, I'll be expecting to see level 50ish Dark Knights running around already. :p
