Twintania Mount!! YUS!

Shouldn't it be around $90? Gamestop has the digital of ARR for $30 so if you get 5 for each friend. That would be $90 for Twin. Unless it needs to be Heavensward or something I'm missing.

Am i the only one who is salty because this is not veteran reward, but a friend invite reward?

If square enix wants money/sale numbers then just place it into mogstation aswell people are gonna cheat the system anyway with dummy accounts.

I wish there was a way to get cred for friend's we invited but didn't use the recruit a friend system.
I know that if they did create a way, it would just be abused by everyone and there would be people trading for twintania mount with gil in game or something. Clearly it only works once as is, maybe they could give all other active accounts the one time option to put in a friends code. That would be nice, but likely wont happen ever. Besides they want to bring in more players. I'd trade all my vet rewards for this, I feel so dumb for not using the friend option with the people i got into the game. Such a bad feeling lol. I'm not a cash shop person at all, but if this went up there I'd buy it. But not gonna go the route others are referring, buying the game again, paying for additional sub.

I wonder if Asdfasdf 'Sellgilasdf would be interested in using a recruit-a-friend code for me, seeing as how they want to be my friend so badly and all...

I really don't understand this decision but oh well. Guess it wasn't meant to be.

None of my friends are interested in sub mmos so I'm out of luck.

I wonder if it only counts consecutive months for the rewards. I have a friend I recruited and who played for 5 months, but he unsubbed due to money issues. He's planning on coming back, I wonder if the counter will pick back up and add his next 30 days to his previous total, or if it resets.. has this come up?

It'll add it to his previous total.

Should be the same as for veteran rewards, I assume (does not have to be consecutive).

Make the mount play the battle theme "Thunderer" when we ride it.

That's all I ask for.


Bonus points if you do this for Behemoth.

You could always just do what most do. Go to the New Player Forums, friend recruit bonus, and spam em.

New people will come for Heavensward. They will use your friend code.

Lets say I have an alt account that I used to get the 90 day choco mount and currently has 120 days on it (Had it for about a year now when the recruit a friend program first started), if I were to get 60 day time cards and load those onto my alt's sub, I would immediately get the remaining chocobo feathers that I need for the Twintania mount once these new recruit a friend program additions go into effect, right?

I should be getting 5 now just for recruiting, the remaining 10 needed for Twin would come from having 210 says on the account once the time cards are added. Just trying to figure out the fastest way of getting the mount lol.

I hate when they take a badass mount and lock it behind something like this. The only friend I had that wanted to play quit before her free 30 days were done to go date some guy. Never got my Draught Chocobo :(

May just make an alt and waste more money. I want that mount >_<

I don't have friends that don't already play and I can't buy extra copies of the game. This sucks. I really wanted this mount.

The irony behind this is people complained a lot about Sleipnir costing $24 for a 'mount' in the cash shop. Yet there's a lot of people willing to shell out $90 dollars for Twin...a mount. >___>

I'm gonna ride mah 'cheap' $24 Sleipnir in Ishgar, especially once it's fly-enabled since I got no friends to invite anyway lol.

And you guys were against Twin being a Cash Shop mount... so, are you happy now that it isn't?

You get 5 feathers just for referring a new account, you can get 3 extremely cheap PS3 copies of the game and end up paying less than what you would have if it was on the shop and as a bonus SE gets to inflate their account numbers even more for their next PR event. I would've preferred if it came from Coil, maybe a low droprate from 5/9/13 with a greatly increased rate if there was a new person in the party, but sadly SE for some reason has decided on making Coil mounts only available from other sources.

Damn looks like i can ride on Twintania the first day of expansion then :D

the really like giving handouts to the gil sellers huh lol

Hey if this is using the Invite Friend system, what about the previous Chocobo Mount, the one involving the white feathers and letting a friend ride with you? Will they be gone forever or will it be still obtainable for those who haven't done this yet?

you can still get it, just there is more to get now (red 2 mount now too)

So it isn't possible to get all rewards with just one friend, is it? You would need 23 feathers and the max you can get from one person is 20 if they sub for 270 days, right?

This is correct you would need someone with max sub and 1 extra registered account with no bonus time to get it

Hmm. I got the 90-day bonus from a random person i gave my code to on Reddit, but I dunno how long they have played for. Perhaps it is time to pester nag convince my sibling to play.

it's a nice mount, but its not worth the hassle of having friends haha...what about the dragon mount they showed in the pax east footage, how is that mount obtainable, anyone know?

IIRQ, MSQ (Main story) - as well as a personal airship.

I need more friends apparently xD, all mine have legacy or were from that time frame.

So no feathers in the mail today. I'm guessing maybe on Tuesday?

Well they said in the live letter that people would log in to find they already had feathers in the mail, but in today's Lodestone post about the new recruitment rewards it says they will not be added until "July"

Given that timing, I guess they will show up the same time as Alexander. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to be medium pimpin' with Kirin until then.
