ALADDIN SNOWMAN! Nobody knew who this guy was or had ever seen him. His glamour perfectly matches his name and he opens each match with about 10 rounds of either /happy or /hildy. He then proceeds to just go ham every single match absolutely crushing it and downing the enemy healer right away.

A few of us were on mumble, and we started talking about him. One guy who just started den said whenever he went against the team with the snowman, the snowman won and my friend lost. Another guy every time he got a match with snowman said "thank god i got the snowman, this is going to be a good match".

Who is this snowman?? Where did he come from and how did he get so good??? Just how does a snowman manage to survive in the desert??

Yes, please!! A lot of people are your rank or around it.

We are making a slight change - instead of queueing as english language only, please queue as french language only. Everything else remains the same.

Can I join as rank 27?

Most players that do solo queue are usually rank 40 and higher. However, we've had players with lower ranks get into the games before (they might have to wait a little longer in queues), so you're still encouraged to queue and participate.

I never understood why we would que away from English? Isn't the goal to get more people into pvp? You are preventing faster ques for those in english who try to pvp!

It's entirely because the duty finder is dumb. If we can guarantee enough people of all ranks are queuing, it makes sense to have everyone just queue English. If it's mostly high rank people queuing, then if someone who is rank 14 queues up, it will "lock" the queue for whoever it matches them with. Let's say I'm rank 14, and everyone else who queues is rank 50.

I queue up, and 3 other 50's get matched on my team, our total rank is 164. Every other team that forms is all rank 50, so they have a total rank of 200. The "164" team won't get paired up with any other teams right away because they're too low, so they will likely have to wait 10+ mins for duty finder to give up and expand the search to match them with the other "200" teams.

Queuing English allows for a lot of low rank random people to queue in during these events, potentially taking 3 people out of the event for 10+ mins and locking the queue while other people get insta-pops. If we all agree on japanese, then all the rank 50 people in the know will queue up Japanese and we'll all get instant pops all night.

If we can get enough people of all ranks queuing up, this won't be an issue at all, but with the low population and the way the way duty finder works, if we can't guarantee a huge crowd one night we'll swap languages.

I asked for the change, mainly due to having ppl wanting to go back to it. Yes we want to get more ppl into that's always been the goal, the ranking system that se has given us has hurt more than it has helped us. But I will leave all the decision making to Yall, as of last week my gaming time has taken a hit and I can't keep up meeting everyone's needs, this is why Nikoza has taken the reigns and im glad he has. So work with him and decide on settings, times etc. Hope to see you all soon!

When is the event this week?

This Friday, September 18th, at 8pm EST, ilvl80 sync, French Language. I also announce these events on pvpreborn.com if you haven't checked it out yet.

Well I am somewhere around rank 25 or something, I cannot remember. I will be on at 9est and hopefully ill be able to join you. :)

Well I am rank 28 now, but I doubt I'll reach anywhere but rank 29 by the time event hits.

Nobody on TS? New server?

Not sure what TS you are referring to but the event ended early (not enough players), sorry! We had a few games pop though. Will let everyone know if there will be another event next week or if we'll be postponing this until patch 3.1.

We've got a skype group we use to communicate during these events, if you want to make a skype name and send me a message "Blubbers_" I can add you in!

Fun games, despite being so few. Hopefully more next time.

The time is just a little challenging for me, I wonder if other have the same issue? 8pm EST is 5PM PST. I don't get home from work until 6pm and unless I rush like a madman and ignore the wife, I can't make it online until 6:30 or 7. What time you guys usually go until?

Bah I queued as English only, and at 10:30 only (I'm a big scrub).

We'll be doing a wolves' den solo queue today at 8pm EST, iLvl 80 sync. Since some players are forgetting to switch it to French, we'll be going back to English language. Make sure this is the only language selected.

As anyone who participated in last week's solo queue event can tell you, the turnout was insane and queues were either instant or within 5-10 minutes each so let's do it again! This Friday, October 2nd, 8pm EST, ilvl80 sync, 'E' only. Let your friends know, let your servers know, let your mothers know.

I've added "Events" to the top navigation of pvpreborn.com, where I will be posting events such as these. Events can also be added by any registered users, so feel free to add events of your own. Hope to see everyone again for today's solo queue event. :]

Yeah, feel free to queue at 8pm EST tomorrow, ilvl 80 sync, 'E' only. Since you are lower ranked, I am not entirely sure if you will get queues as often as higher ranked players (due to the matchmaking system), but definitely give it a shot.
