Let's have a round of applause for bringing grind parties front and center in FFXIV

Someone mentioned the idea of having a one-time SP bonus for the first-time a Notorious Monster was defteated. That would be a really awesome way to rank-up. If there was a 10k bonus SP for the first-time you defeat each new NM it would eliminate many of the problems that you are seeing Xianghua. Would that be reasonable?

The Idea itself isn't bad, however it still will not replace Grinding as the main source of EXP/SP simply because it is limited to how many NMs there is.

I'm curious though as to why so many feel they deserve large sums of EXP for little to no work at all?

I think we are trying to high-ball the DEV team into large sums of EXP for little to no work as opposed to large sums of work for little or no exp lol

Fair enough. well I'm sorry lol I've always been one that liked to work hard for things in life and not have stuff given to me. so naturally I'm gonna love working to get my exp rather then having it given to me.

I don't mind working hard, I just want to receive a fair compensation for the work I do.

Nothing sucks worse than feeling like your work isn't paying off or that it isn't paying enough.
