I wanted to see your version of her! Since we're practically copying it's interesting to see the different ways to draw the same thing. Also, in what way is it screwed up? It looks much better than my discarded first attempt.

By the way, i coincidentally drew Ramesses as well... Maybe i'll go look for someone to draw among the older posts now, since this is turning out to be good practice.

Today when i clocked out, my dad said he was working late tonight (we carpool together),
So i went down to the graphics department and stole a tablet. After about two hours of doodling with Photoshop I ended up with this.

I cant believe that i drew that with my own hands....speaking of my hands, they are starting to cramp up. I better go play some FF14 to ease the pain.

(I might continue drawing if my dad stays extremely late tonight.)

I've never heard of the "stereo effect" before this thread. It's kind of neat. I never knew I could control my eyes so well, but unfortunately all the detail is lost because I can't focus while cross eyed. :(

I guess I'm the only person here that takes stereo screenshots.
As for for the focusing, It is possible. It just take some practice.

Neko, this is how I'd go about a portrait from that screen. I kinda think the happy expressions are pretty mild in XIV, especially with what you said about the history and all. I think it fits but let me know what you think and I'll tidy it up with better lines and color, etc.

This would be a lot of help if you happen to play as a Mi'quote-- It's the same drawing over and over @_@ A miquote sitting on the ground. Make sure to look at something at least so you're head isn't perfectly straight~ I can take artistic liberties with the screenshot. So set me up something interesting and I can *really* do something cool. Having an interesting angle helps too, even a low camera shot. Otherwise these all might look alike except with different clothing D: Thanks! =D Of course I will draw them sitting if that's what you really want. Thanks again~

RedHare, you are right that we need to add some diversity to our pics.

I had a neat idea of how to draw a Lallafel that is crafting as a blacksmith. if anyone plays as a lala could you post some crafting pics? ( I'm still drawing those other two pics, just want to be able to jump back and forth.)

You're very right, happy expressions are very mild. So far, /pose has had the best happy expression to date. That's why I faced myself to the wall in our LS's hang out spot for the best close-up possible and /pose'd til I got it just right (with ls mates saying "um, why are you posing to the wall??" "Because the wall doesn't get enough attention! Someone has to give it some love..." /em hugs the wall. lol) ^.^

Kirith & Rinoa, I'm still very interested in seeing a finished product of your drawings if you are both still willing to work on them ^.^; I think it would be awesome to see the different ways different artists see my character, so please don't give up! They both look fantastic so far, and even my LS mates are excited to see the end results! But even if you decide not to continue, I'm still extremely humbled and flattered, so many thanks! (/bow, /salute, /kneel)

All the artists contributing to this thread are fantastic. I'd give you all a million thumbs up if I could!! You all are taking time out of your own lives (and maybe even potential gaming time O.O) to work on this for the community. I think the fact that this game can still inspire such superb inspiration proves something that no silly critic, troll, or pessimist can take away. Kudos to you all!

I greatly appreciate it Rinoa, however; I am actually looking for a non-stereo screen. I am going to actually try and draw a stereo from a non-stereo image. So anything where there is something comming at the screen, or if you are being chased my monsters would be great. Just something with multiple objects at different zeds.

So here you are: Aldora, all finished. Despite all the problems my computer gave me, I'm really happy with it. Much more Final Fantasy-ish, I think. And much simpler~

I chose that screen tonight to try and practice drawing in stereo. I think it will look pretty cool with the background.
Did the linework for the character pretty roughly to see if I have the angle for both images laid out well enough for it to look 3D. Tell me if I should tweek anything before I start to shade on color, as well as move on the environment.

Sorry it is a little blurry, I didn't resize it right or something.
(Oh yeah, for those that don't know, you have to look at it kinda cross-eyed)
