Welp at the end of many furious days of screen caping I think I only have 4 more to go.

Phew. It is hard coming up with different shots, outfits, poses and themes that fit all the qualifications.

This is fun. but wow is it time consuming. lol.

i haven't even started taking shots yet. I wanted to make sure i made it past the first prelim round before i got serious about the next set.

I was thinking about outfits and i found myself thinking "oh i cant wear that, i already wore that outfit".. i may need therapy after this lol

You can join an FC with a house to where you wanna go, go outside your starting town to aetheryte to get the Teleport ability, and teleport to the FC's residence. :D But which housing area is the ENTM house? hmmm

Well the thing is.. I'm actually going out of town for the 5 days preceding the photo's due date. (and working crazy hours the few days before that. So I have at least a week of no pics.)
So I need to get at least a decent series done with 1 for each round before I take off just in case I made it.

I'll resubmit if I feel the need to after I get back. (And I'm guessing Round 11 is going to take me a million years to get happy with.)

I didn't realize all the people who applied but didn't make it/the models from last cycle wouldn't vote. I was expecting a lot more votes! Maybe the last two days will pick up? Anyway, I am enjoying my last weekend before school starts, so I don't mind that the voting process was so long. . .Though, I am not the one panicking all week am i? xD But, like we already said, there are 37 pictures to look through! I'm sure it's just way to big of a task at the moment. The real votes will come when we've narrowed it down to 16.

Don't forget that Preliminary Round 3 wont be based on race/gender any more! >:)

There was a certain feature released in the new update that I bet all of you are super excited to use in Official Round 8!!

I voted even though Tiger Festival didn't make it. I think maybe it went unnoticed because I decided to try out my Roe instead of my main character, so you don't see Tiger's face on the forum post. I'm also sorta worried that doing so hurt Tiger's chances when I tried her out, considering there was a miqo overflow. But I wasn't part of that. I only tried out Tiger. She would have made the most excellent earth elemental. ;P

Hi there~~

I was looking around on some screenshots from Cycle 1 and I found rly high pitched ones with strong hue and weird sharpness level, so my friend and I looked it up, and just wanted to ask and be clear about this, because i'm pretty sure Cycle 1 had few shots processed by this program (its processed within the game), and the best part is that people thought it was due to rly good GFX card settings, lol pls
it's a pluggin of some sort that boosts gfx stats and doesn't require external editing.
is this allowed in this contest? ^^

We go by the honor system here. ^^ The models know they aren't supposed to cheat by sending in anything other than actual ingame photos. I can't prove anyone is using that program. I asked them, and they said no.

Epsil has posted some pretty dramatic shots that he says he took by using the sun minion, enemy skills, player abilities, and playing with the lighting with camera angels. Those are pretty much word for word what both Morina and Valintina from Cycle 1 said when people accused them of editing their shots in some way.

So, no it's not allowed, but sadly if you use it and then deny it, i can't prove it.

From what i have seen, for this cycle, everyone seems to work hard on their shots and they all are clean. ^^
