We tried logging in repeatedly during the last free login weekend (July 18th-21st I think) without success, even on off hours. To see the same error again today was really disheartening, and I don't feel like spending all my free hours this week attempting to log in.

But knowing that apparently it can resolve itself is good, so I will try sporadically when I have the time.

been trying for a couple of days been away for a few months was really looking to play can't get past character selections hope they fix it soon or I'll stop my subscription I refuse to pay and not play

Currently encountering 2002 as well just this morning.

Still unable to login to Aether data center this morning after the launcher picked up a patch. And I'm somewhat disturbed that nobody else seems to be reporting this.

I'm getting the 2002 error as well. A bit worried because my static is tonight.

Just got 90k'd and started getting error 2002. Now i'm receiving a 1014 error saying "World data could not be obtained, please try again later." Seems to only be happening on my server since I can log in to others.

I relogged due to chocobo bugged (couldnt unsummon and the timer is on ??:??), then i am stucked with error 2002.

This is still an issue, I got error 2002 and 5006 , WTF SE, can we get some answers regarding this already? I 've heard people were unable to play for months because of this

been 2002-ing for the past 15 mins of trying, along with multiple members of my FC on Aether

Can get past initial login and sometimes to the Character select screen but toon doesn't load and cant get into server.

Errors 2002 & 5006 So far

Confirmed, PRIMAL data center was able to log back in after recieving error 2002, World queue to log in is 110, so obviously this affected everyone.

Ather Data Server is down as well.

I tried to que into Tam-Tara HM to help a friend then got kicked and am also getting 2002 & 5006 as well!

its 10:50 pm central time and i cant log in . getting error 2002 . i have been trying for 45 min to luck , anyone know whats going on? i look forward to playing . after work and chores . i need my ffxiv !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting 2002 every time i log in on midgard. Its not in the list but I am being affected by it. I got 90ked after joining party finder and havn't been able to log back on since.

Same. I cannot login, Ultros server. I tried a few times got the part where it said I was in que, then it dropped out. Haven't gotten that far since. I guess a lot of people are playing right now? Usually theres never a que on ultros.

I'm on Behemoth and have been having the same problem... Would be nice if SE at least acknowledged the problem...

Same here, it's been two days that I'm getting random DCs and this 2002 problem, but this is the longest time I've got left out of the game since it started.

i've given up all hope. I paid for 6 months and i've only been able to play 1 at the most thanks to this error. I've officially quit FF14. Square forced me away. you just lost a customer. not that you actually care square enix.
