Basically I fiddled with partition walls and the demon wall until I got it to bug out and stay there, had to keep moving the partition walls around until they finally left the demon wall where I wanted it.

Takes a long time and a lot of patience, just gotta get the game to bug at the right spot to keep the wall where you want it.

You have been arguing for SE to "copy" Rift for a good long while now, but has it ever occurred to you that there is no way that they could "copy" a system from another game because of well... copyright and plagiarism issues? As amazing as the system looks, FFXIV's housing is built in a fundamentally different way, and will likely stay that way.

I did it. I made a section for each city state within our FC house's lounge, and I managed to put a sapphire and a ruby in a scale for the Immortal Flames.

The sapphire is off center in the scale, but I don't care. I'm not redoing that.

Uses 8(!) Riviera bookshelves(2 back to back for each sections). The pillar in the middle is not needed, but it helps block the random texture flickering from having all those bookshelves intersecting

I'd love to make a larger scale version if housing opens up during this update. I've been meaning to post this here over a year ago but better late that never, right?

Dead Man's Chest with the stack/pile of tomes - it's a nice way to 'bury' it in something, and also makes for a nice light source. These tomes are really good in general, since they have a lot of volume but no collision with other furniture, you can combine them with many things, even use them as partitions.

Shower Stand with the Purification Module is my favourite. You don't want the floor getting wet, so you can pretend that it works like a shower drain or something - we don't have any 'shower' flooring items otherwise, and sometimes you don't want a whole bath. The base of the shower stand fits nicely into the grooves on it as well.
