Hmm...so Vanity Slots will be called "Glamours".

Any more info than that? Or was all we given was a name?

More or less. They said they'll be talking more about it the next live letter, though.

And as a side-note, it was actually called Mirage Prism in japanese, though I'm assuming it's being localized as Glamour. :p

Seeing how frivolously that word was used when involving imps, I have a feeling our favorite tricksters are going to have something to do with this new system.

Also correct me if I'm wrong but did they say crafters would be making stuff in the glamour (or mirage prism) as well?

They said that crafters will be part of the mirage prism system but they didn't precise anything.

Saint's casual outfit. He is a straightforward, blunt guy, but he is also from a proud and traditional Ishgard family, so I went for something simple and comfortable, yet elegant and expensively tailored looking. A lot of people would probably not consider it 'casual' at all. (I would have preferred the top without the extra ornaments, but the only version of it that doesn't have them is the Dotore's one, which comes with chainmail instead of fabric sleeves and isn't dye-able.)

And Susu. Not 100% happy with the shade of the top, but without a preview function, picking the right dye is just really really tedious. (Also, those pants look surprisingly modern in that colour.)

Yes, I walk around towns and outlying areas with barely anything covering my top half. When you got a body as good as that, why not show it off? (Looking to replace those miqo'te boots though as the footwear, they've just never worked well for me.)

Stupid question but, what are those hats called. Been looking everywhere for the name and can't find anything on them!! If its dungeon gear idk how I missed it!!! lol I feel as though I should have seen these hats at some point in my XIV life.

Aside from that : Really awesome ideas everyone. Our community sure has an eye for matching gear :D Can't wait to see everyone when the update comes out! No one will ever look the same. Thats a plus!

Also, you can get the Buccaneer's Tricorne from the Dzmeal Darkhold dungeon. It's the one I use for my pirate set and it's one of the few Green Rare armor pieces that you can actually dye whatever color you want. You can also find this on the Market Boards as well.

Changed the hair and I think it makes it look a lot better. Strange how such subtle changes can really improve an outfit :)

Thank you for the info. I ran that dungeon once, never really needed to since. And it was a long time ago so I probably just don't remember seeing it. But now that i know this bit of information I am going to spam it until i can get it for myself :D I def want this to be part of my vanity set!

i wonder if once the vanity system is implemented, we'll be able to use it for equipment from a grand company we are no longer a member from. i've been in maelstrom and twin adder and have equipment from both, i understand i can't technically use maelstrom's since i'm twin adder now, but could i still use it for vanity? hm....
