As cool as that is it would be nice to simply have the last minion you had out before you entered an instance re-summoned automatically when you exit.

I wish that the whole concept of "minion maker" was a storyline npc whom you could meet to unlock extra features tied to your minion, and possibly perks for earning a bunch?

What I would like to see more are interactions between several minions. Like for example the Couerl cat and the dog we got in 2.1 can have a little fight with each other. Loving to watch this and would like to have more of it. Maybe there are already more and I do not know? Does somebody know of any other interactions between minions?

Mini-Sephiroth and Mini-Aerith minions. When 2 players close by each have them summoned, Mini-Sephiroth pokes Mini-Aerith in the back with his sword.

Having solved all other in game problems and implemented all features, they are now working on... a random minion button. Really?
Couldn't you just open your minion menu, shut your eyes, and click blindly?

they need to add random mount too :D

Why all the hate on the random minion button? I'm going to only use it! Rather than having to open up menus you could just have ONE button on one of your action bars. Can't beat it.

I would like to see an ultima weapon minion.

I'd like minions to make a sound when you click on them (couldnt stop clicking the murlock baby minion in WoW for instance, too cute) and when we have our personal housing it would rock to have our minions just occupy it run around lose in it. Also more minion to minion action please, i had the fawn out and my friend the raptor..would be nice if they interacted like the raptor trying to snap at the fawn =).

I would Looooove to have Ultros, Umaro, Yojimbo, Kefka, Auron, Stiener, Genbu, Byakko, Suzaku, Seiryu, Kirin, Atma weapon, RedXIII, Moombas, Fat chocobo, FF1 warrior of light monk and a Lunar whale. I'm not greedy.

I want minions for my minions.

When Minions of Light are near one another, they should stand together in party formation and start a small "random encounter" with another nearby monster minion.

Also, I really like the Minion Roulette idea. Can we also get mount roulette, as well please?

He was the only reason I EVER leveled/played DRG in FFXI... only reason I won't play it here XD (The lack of a wyvern hahaha)

A better idea would be to disable other players' minions from loading on your screen, i.e. go under your game settings, click a box to prevent non combat pets from loading just like you hide players names and disable flashy spell effects. The only exceptions to this would be the combat pets (the Egis, Fairies, and Chocobos). You don't have to see my random pet, I get so see it, everyone's happy.

To be honest I never really thought about disabling other player's non combat pets until yesterday when the new event quests went live. Nothing like trying to compete the Dragon Quest fate with dozens of little mini Shantotto's covering the ground and cluttering the landscape. (Personally I thought was hilarious to see, but it must have been hell for people playing on a console).

mmmm off the top of my head a chibi kefka or gilgamesh would be awesome.
