7.8 at the moment, after fixing some issues it might be an 8.5-9.5.
The reason why it only gets 7.8 atm is that it lacks alot of genre basic features such as PvP. I do not cry about it but my gradings are very very harsh with just 1 or 2 10 points given every 5 years.
What the game does good:
Very good story, good multiclassing system
Fun and enjoyable crafting
Very good high quality instances
Nice characters, I really love the look on my avatar
Nice combat system with good focus on the trinity
What the game does bad:
Too few end game dungeons to chose from
No PvP which is essencial for the genre
Limit on how much ToM you can earn each week
This leaves the game on a stable 7.8 which can only be improved with further content. After 2.1 I can easily see myself raising this grade to atleast 8.1.

What is this the 80's? Are the people that played WoW forever ostracized because they played a video game before XIV was even conceived? Please.
-
8.5
The game is solid, it feels like Final Fantasy.
-
5/10
beautiful and character models
RMT spams make this subscription game look embarassing
The issues with getting hit while outside of AoE circle
Game bugs, botters, hackers

7/10.
Story was fantastic as always.
PVE is actually pretty decent, but the gear grind is annoying.
RMT bots still running rampant.
Game looks beautiful.
Also a lot of minor issues, but this is a solid MMO at this stage. It was rushed, it needed to be delayed another month or two. But it's still a good MMO.

A high 8 or so. I'm having fun and that's all that really matters. I'm not in a rush to get through all the content and I'm enjoying at my own pace. Although I'd be lying if I said I can't wait for Crystal Tower.

8/10
I love the game, and sure it has lots of potential but the AK/CM grind took 2points away.
This is kind of a game you cant rate for the full game, the next patch 2.1 will get different score from me. So i'm assuming my 8/10 is just for 2.0 ;)

Story was simply amazing, however endgame progression is kinda silly. Sure some of the fights can be very fun, but once you do them over and over and over and over again.....

5/10.
Pros-
-Battle is fun on caster classes.
-Game looks and sounds great.
-Crafting and gathering are great.
-Story / lore are good enough to be in a FF title.
Cons-
-Winning any battle content at 50 is about memorizing how to dance properly and passing the gear check.
-Lack of a pure buff/debuff job and a lack of a need for one in general.
-Lack of the ability or reason for secondary gear sets that significantly change your job when appropriate.
-While crafting and gathering are great, there is no real reason to do it except to feed your other dol/doh classes.
-The flow of materials in to the markets is way too high for gathered items. Farmed items don't have enough places or mobs to get them from. Everything of worth dies the instant it spawns. It's beyond 'deal with competition' and is to the point of driving a person mad if they try to farm.
-RMT. Usually I don't really care if they are around or not. Here they actually annoy you.
-Lacking polish. No right click / blacklist. Market board interface is clumsy. Little to no in game info (e.g. stat caps for melds before you have the materia, gear available that isn't sellable, HQ stats in crafting log etc.) Job balance is a tad off, but close enough to be quickly fixed whenever they decide to commit resources to it.
-End game seems like a rush to not play anymore, instead of an achievement and a reason to carry on. Entirely subjective but I'm definitely not alone in feeling this way.
-The social aspects of duty finder and grindable relics have turned end game in to a situation I don't enjoy being in outside of my FC. It feels to me instead of 'you have to be good enough' it is now 'you have to had spent 130 hours spamming PR/AK to play with us'.
So how is it a 5/10 to me when there are far more cons than pros? All the other MMO options are still a step down and I'm a bit biased as I have made good friends in my FC that I spend most of my in game time with.
