Chiming in to say yesterday I got dragged by my FC to tank ifrit for some FC mates. I had lost all hope but, lo and behold, sword on second try. Fun Fact: Killing blow was a Shield Bash to his face xDD
Do not despair, the swords are out there! (insert X-Files music)
53 Kills of Ifrit, saw the spear twice lost both rolls
Only about 10 Kills on Garuda
My FC takes 3 tries at Titan, we kill him and I have my +1 Relic. Went straight from my Grand Company Spear, to Relic +1 because my luck was that bad.
87 Ifrit wins. The sword has never dropped.
I have 5 other Ifrit weapons for classes I never intend to play.
I have also defeated Garuda 8 times and never seen my sword.
Whatever, I'll just stick to crafting.
Beat Ifrit 31 times and I have yet to see a lance drop. It's the only wep I haven't seen drop in fact. Picked up a cane and cudgel on the way tho. Beat Garuda for the first time today. Boom. Lance drop. On the first try. And I won the roll against another Drg as well, go figure ^_^
SE, please do the smart thing and re-implement the primal weapon token system.

You can probably tell I'm pretty lucky with primal weapon drops.
I got the Ifrit axe my very first run... I really feel bad for monks, every monk i know has an extremely tough time getting the fists. On top of that i have never seen them drop in any of my groups
Haha It took me 60+ tries on Ifrit before I even saw the Harpoon drop for the first time. A tear nearly came to my eye when it finally happened and I got it. xD
