HM Ifrit "Bad Luck" Support Group/Therapy Session

It's not the same in every game, nor is it 100% random. There are drop percentages.

Though the weapons should in theory at least be of equal drop %

Ran ifrit about 7 times last night. 2 BLM drops, 1 WHM drops, 1 ARC, 3 SMN books. Only the BLM (me) and WHM drops went to good use. Felt super bad for the PLDs in the group; they've been at this for a while now.

Felt extra bad because I got my weapon on my first try. (That never ever happens, so it was a nice change of pace for me but still felt bad >.<)

at least there's a guaranteed weapon drop in ARR

ran ifrit a lot (100+ kills) in version 1, most of those kills pre-totem, and we didn't get anything but dark matter most of those kills

infact in all of my kills I still haven't gotten the monk weapon

Ifrit really likes his books, he keeps dropping them~

I'm one of the lucky ones who got the whm staff first kill haha

200 Ifrit runs in 1.0 yielded me 3 unique weapons, and several duplicates I dropped. I know a THM that received his THM weapon 6 times in a row.

I guess the gods decided to favor me a bit this time as the first Ifrit kill I participated in I got the weapon for the job I'm currently playing. (BLM)

I'm starting to see a pattern here...BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!!!

I ran ifrit 42 times before i even saw my SCH book drop. However i got my SMN book on my 3rd try.

Over 30 runs of Ifrit HM. And I already have my relic. I don't need the sword but after helping so many people clear it. I'm starting to wonder about the drop rate of swords.
