Gee, was there any other outcome but for the horde of archers who levelled archer because it was overpowered to come in here and rage against the prospect of being nerfed, and in the process remove the only reason they play archer in the first place?

No, it's best you all get nerfed before there are so many of you and you've burrowed into so many tactics that there's no getting you out.

Took years to undo what rangers did to FFXI, and it took ignoring an entire generation of self-entitled, bred rangers to do it.

Best do it now while you're young.

Notice on the R45 mob, he only does 1800 dmg...fully buffed on a WS that is designed to do more dmg with more mob debuffs (look how many are on the monster) and in a Battle Regimen. I can do that much with my PUG against the same mob in the same conditions.

The shot from Dodore was most likely fully buffed, and can't be pulled off every 5 seconds.

Spike damage does not equal consistent damage.

Same justification was made in FFXI. There is NOTHING you can argue that has merit. The solution to squishy archers is to have so many archers that everything dies early. Archers can't tank. They don't have to.

We've been over every justification you could ever make to keep archers the way they are, and they were deemed insufficient arguments. Ranger was nerfed. So shall archer be.

Or you can have a full party of varied classes and still have the same outcome. Mobs are piss easy in here. THATS the problem. Not archers

Ranger was nerfed because it was extremely disproportionate to other DDs. The same isn't true for XIV. And even after the Ranger nerf, arrowburn parties were still viable. It brought them back down to Earth, but it didn't remove them from the game, which is what I suspect you'd like to see most of all.

Can't be pulled off by any other job, period. If there's any job that should have the ability to stack 3 hits, archer is the last job on the list because of its other advantages.

I vote we nerf CON because it can cure for more than Archer and while we are at it nerf THM because it can debuff better. Lets go the whole hog and nerf everything because every class does something better than Archer and we can't have a class being better at something than another now can we.

You all don't have the maturity to not choose 6 archers and 2 thaumaturges to beat difficutly-designed content. None of us do. Again, we've already proven that that's what we'll do if archer stays like it is.

6 archers and 2 thaumaturges are what we will throw at any difficult content, because difficult MMO content EJECTS meleers the SECOND they start getting AoE'd and "feeding it TP."

I agree, archers should be weaker. I mean they can attack from far away and bind mobs. Come on. They should do mid damage at most.
Maybe keep the sick damage on like really expensive arrows they can't possibly afford to use all the time.
